Wine Connection, Via de la Valle, del Mar Disappointing advise : when I ordered a crate of a specific wine, only positive comments were given by the in store staff. Upon delivery, I realize that the wine is NOT meeting the expectations. When I made a comment about this, the answer is they knew that this wasnt the greatest vintage. They also refused to take it back and exchange it. Their comment was that I should get rid of it by giving it as a present ! (Im the kind of person that only give presents that are of good quality) So be warned : dont expect good advise nor any commercial flexibility in this store.

I walked into The Wine Connection looking for a couple bottles of wine for a big dinner I was hosting. I know very little about wine and food pairings, but when I entered the store the staff was right there to help me pick out the wines that would most compliment the food. And they were right on. My guests loved the wine and I looked like a genius for picking the bottles. If you are looking for a fantastic wine store with a huge selection and knowledgeable staff, this is the place to go

The Wine Connection staff found wines that were wonderful in my price point and taught me about each one I was purchasing. Was looking for a Moscato I loved in Little Italy. Fortunately, I found the wine connection and Bishar pointed out that to get it you have to order a case but also pointed out a comparable Moscato. I tried his recommended bottle and was very happy. This is now my source for the Moscato I love.

Their website will tell you that your vintage is in stock, as many bottles as youd like. Theyll proceed to have you register take your credit card, email you a receipt and then try to switch the vintage. Very disappointing and just as unfriendly

Ive had great success here finding interesting and out of the ordinary wines. Enjoyed talking to the staff and perusing the inventory. Its a cure for the common BevMo, and I stop in whenever Im in town.
