The lack of professionalism is a serious situation in this particular branch of Big 5. A relative of mine was recently hired there, but instantly resigned on her first day when most of her male co-workers made sexual remarks to her and her other female co-workers. Unfortunately, her female co-workers are just as unprofessional. Examples being: inappropriate working attire and asking customers out on dates. The latter being an experience another family relative experienced. I will personally file a complaint to the corporate office and to the US Department of Labor. I will also send an article to one of Los Angeles Times editors, who I have the opportunity of knowing. This will not be ignored.

Worst customer experience ever. They have one small door to get into cashier area that insects the line, the employees are all angry and on top of it they handed me a box the size of a car and didnt even suggest helping me take it to my car while my hands were full because they were preoccupied with internal social conversations. All unacceptable.

Absolutely rude. I usually only rate businesses unless I have something good to say. We came in 45 minutes before closing, and the staff could not have been less interested in helping us find what we needed. We will never darken the door again. No excuse for that level of contempt for a business transaction.

Inexpensive sporting goods store. Most of the merchandise isnt the best quality (plenty of $20 - $50 shoes, for example) and the condition of the store reflects that. Store associates are hard to find, except at the central register.

Hard to find prices on most things on the shelf, but theres a price check scanner and the staff are very helpful and nice. Tackle section was a complete disaster but okay enough selection.
