If you are looking for good service then dont dare to come here...Just walked out of this store and I will never return. I came to return a pair of shoes that came messed up ..first of all no anyone is trained to do returns, they need a managers approval (whatever)...The associate kept calling the manager thru the mic and the manager no where to be found....Then they asked Dorian? If he could do a return..this lazy idiot, is rolling his eyes and thinking about it (like really? And then these type of idiots wonder why they dont have a job and live off food stamps)...Anyways, after giving it a thought the idiot came to do the hard work of just putting in a passcode on the computer for this rude mexican to get her attitude at me since she saw I was getting mad....Overall so rude and I am sooo mad, that tomorrow first thing in the morning I will be calling corporate. If I could give 0 stars I would definetly do it.

VERY long story short, a transition (using a coupon) that was small ended up with a very salty and nasty attitude for the manager and sales girl there! While I was there, another man had a coupon (it was torn but the part with the barcode was still in tact) and the manager made yet another UNnecessary comment....the young ladies who work there PROBABLY have never been on Unemployment! Bottomline, in 2010 with the economy being what it is and people losing their jobs, youd ASSUME a major chain like Big 5 would want "repeat business".....NOT THE CASE IN CULVER CITY! Drive the extra few miles to ANYwhere else (Target, Walmart, Sports Chalet, etc....) for your sporting needs....! I WILL NOT RETURN THERE!

I love my local Big 5! The store is always well supplied and the employees / managers are really helpful. I can always find great deals / value, and the customer service is outstanding! I was in the store recently when a local studio tried to return hundreds of dollars of merchandise they had clearly used for a photo shoot, and even under immense pressure, the management team tactfully handled the disgruntled (scheming) "customers" while simultaneously managing a store full of other customers taking notice of the commotion. Great sporting goods store and prices are very reasonable!

I needed bag gloves before a fitness class that morning and they answered the phone before they were open for business. They were very nice and helpful, and quickly searched and found several items that I was searching for. Because they sensed I was in a rush, they reserved the items at the front. They went above and beyond, andthey werent even open for business yet.

This place is fine if you need something quick. This place is convenient that way. The parking is virtually non existent with only a few spots in the back. You only have staff at the register, therefore dont expect help. Its always odd to see guns being sold, but I suppose youd come here if there ever was a zombie apocalypse.

The service here is extremely bad they all have no personality no smile not welcoming at all. there is just one younger man that was very helpful but besides that the lady at the register and the assistant manager and the manager were not kind at all. Now I see why they dont get anything over a 2 star.

The staff here is incredibly helpful. I called ahead to be sure they had my sizes in the style I wanted, and the salesperson put aside exactly what I needed. the small store was well-organized and the friendly staff was efficient. I found my swimsuit and was on my way in under 15 minutes. Great store.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Cheap prices. Everything goes on sale at some point, so if what you want isnt on sale, just wait a couple weeks! You can even ask them if something will be going on sale soon. Sometimes theyll even give you a discount that has already passed!

The limited space is a challenge to this location, so they try their best to supply for every sport, and what you get is a small variety and a sense of being too crowded. Customer service can improve.
