Really the best Big 5 that I have been to, but thats not saying a great deal. While their prices are generally good, typically the parking lots along with the stores themselves are a bit of a mess, theyre not in the good neighborhood, and that they hire charm school dropouts. That one, however, was alright. Definitely in the better part of town than most, parking was easy along with the lot was well preserved. The cashier looked sleepy (typical), but the security guard, of all people, overheard me asking the place that the padlocks were... and pointed me within the right direction, even walked me up to them. Nice guy. $5. 99 looked good and cheap, I was in and out quickly without any drama. Done and performed. Nothing special about my experience, but its the 1st time Ive left a Large 5 NOT irritated in the while, and my new at this location.

Yes it can be messy, but thats only because like in many stores its the customers who leave things laying around. I saw an employee cleaning up after two kids who were playing around with some items and their parents didnt say anything. Meanwhile employee was being polite and offering help to customers. They didnt have the item I was looking for, but the manager called another store and for me and had them hold it for me. Good service.

No one seemed helpful. I talked to two employees and first lacked knowledge of where hats were located in the store and the second answered "No" and kept walking by. All I asked for was a golf-like hat, or a hat with a big brim. Besides pointing me to an organized pile of baseball style hats, you could tell me there are hats in the fishing and hunting section.

Hours are not correct. Correct opening hours: Monday 9:30 Tuesday-Friday 10:00 Saturday 9:00. Sunday 10:00... worst part was when I called I explained how my local store was closed they told they were open. We drove over, to a closed door. Horrible experience, when the doors opened it was a store full of angry customers.

After 20 years of "taking a break" from tennis I picked my tennis racket up again about 2 and half years ago. From the get go this was my shop. Staff knows what they are talking about, good stringing, great selection and one can find some incredible deals on demo rackets.

They have this really neat mat. It has handles and even a pocket. Isnt that ingenious? You should definitely go and get one of these mats before theyre all gone! Also, it was unnecessarily messy inside.
