I remember going to Big 5 when I was a kid, 25 or 30 years ago. It seemed like they had everything back in the day. The stores were big, clean, well lit, and carried actual sporting goods. This Big 5 is not like that. Its not the worst one that Ive ever been in (this one is clean), but its a far cry from the heyday of the brand. They carry items for a good variety of different sports, but the individual selection within those sports is minimal. Drop in if you have a reason to be in this particular shopping center and can spare 10 minutes to look for something you need, but dont bother going here as your first choice.

Little bit of each. Staff for all sports. From fishing gear to tennis, this sport is the place for sport lovers. It is not big, and you will not find everything you need here,, but you will find the small things that you might need for right now. 2 cashiers, 2 very helpful staff. But what I did not like is that they do not have price stickers on many of the items, so you need to take it all the way to the cashier to get answer to the question how much the item cost.

This store is very well stocked with prudish for a variety of sports and needs. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have purchased everything from a bicycle helmet to a home gym and trampoline from here. If they run out of a specific item they will tell you when tbey will get more or if they will no longer get any more.

I go camping at least once a month and this is the only place I go. The best selection for camping gear you’ll ever find, and the cheapest prices imaginable. There is no reason why camping gear should cost an arm and a leg like they charge at other places.

Good store with one problem or a plus, you can decide yourself. they have little of each. not enough, but they cover so many sport activities, that each one will find that he might need here. friendly staff, and good prices. it is good, and it is local.

After Sportmart and Sport Chalet went bankrupt this is the only "chain" still afloat in the San Fernando area. However the store not providing enough seasonal inventory and variety of things.
