I have lived in the Granite Bay area for 15 plus years. I have always tried to support the local businesses. I have been in the Granite Bay Ace Hardware and they seem to be helpful but dont ever try to return anything because they do not accept returns. Its hard to believe a store refuses to accept returns or even offer a credit. If a business wants to prosper their customers need to have confidence in the retailer. Other competitors like Home Depot, Lowes, heck even the Ace in Roseville will accept returns. After having this happen to me on several occasions I will no longer shop at Ace Granite Bay. I have no confidence in their store. My time is precious. I dont have time to go to a store where they wont accept a return and then have to drive across town to resolve the issue I am trying to resolve. Next time I will just drive across town to begin with so that if I have a problem with a product it can get taken care of quickly and I can finish my project at home.

Great service and knowledgeable employees. It actually took me back 20 years to when I was a kid and I would go with my grandpa to local hardware store. It was so nice to have a store that was full of very helpful and confident associates that were eager to assist with all of my questions. I must of been in there just a little over an hour and I learned how to fix all of my dreaded household repairs that have been adding up on my fix it list. They also had some of the hard to find items that I have been looking for that you just cant find anywherr else, which was spetacular. I highly recomend this store full of knowledgeable experts to anyone that is working on any project around the house or wherever. These guys and gals know their sruff and saved me a ton of time and money. I love this store and will definitely be going back for all of my hardward and project needs. Aaron - Lincoln, California

This happened a while back. Incredible experience. Greeted by cashier as i walked in. She noticed i had a small part in my hand. Called someone over headset. Pointed me to an aisle in back of store. When i walked to back of store, a second employee was waiting, looked at (unusual) part, walked to shelf, pulled out part. Literally less than 2 minutes from entering store! Great Great Great.
