There is so much I could say about Revolution Bicycle Repair! I love these guys. Sean, Justin, Matt, James, Andrew, and Bryan are the most friendly and knowledgable bike mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of bringing my bikes to in Humboldt or anywhere else for that matter. I own two bikes from Revolution and the guys there ensured that they were the perfect bikes for me and my needs. From simple things like inflating my tires to the correct PSI to more complicated tune ups, Revo has been there for me and helped me in very way possible at a good price. Not only does Revo cater to the HSU cycling team, roadies, mountain bikers, bmx-ers, or anyone else on two wheels, but they are also an integral part of the Humboldt community and surrounding area. These guys work with the Humboldt Trail Council and other local non-profit organizations to benefit the well being our community. Vive la révolution!

Revolution Bicycle Repair is the BEST bike shop ever! I refuse to take my bike anywhere else. Im sure everyone has experienced the pretentious bike snob feel when the bike shop employee wants to unload his/her wealth of cycling knowledge, leaving the customer feeling insignificant and used.... but Revolution Bicycle Repair does not condone this tom-foolery! Revolution has a welcoming home-town feel with knowledgeable staff that are willing to help. They cater to every cyclist, from lycra-clad roadies to back woods mountain bikers, or even if you just enjoy riding your bike around town. Revolution is there to get your two wheels turning!

I went to Revolution to the entire 7 years I lived in Humboldt. From the get-go, all the guys remembered my name and were incredibly helpful pretty much every single darn time. i never felt under-respected or over-sold (which can be a concern in a shop that also caters to the pros). I purchased at least 2 bikes from them, and love/loved them. They have done crazy stuff to all my bikes and always promptly and incredibly kindly. if i stopped by with a minor annoyance most times they would just fix it while i stood there! now i spend more time out of the county than in it, but whenever i can, i bring my bikes to the guys. i LOVE them.

I visited the Eureka store with an interest in Electric Bikes, Dave showed me some of the bikes they stocked and a bike with the Clean Republic Hill Topper kit installed on it. Dave suggested I ride their bike and see how well it performed as I already owned a bike I just loved. I took the bike on a long road test that included the Sequoia Park duckpond hill, I was totally convinced this was the option for me and purchased the kit and had Daves crew install it. Dave was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole process, I highly recommend this shop.

I am not sure what star rating they deserve since they wouldnt help me. I was passing through town on an 800 mile solo bike tour and needed a quick shifter adjustment. The clerk told me that they cater to students at Humboldt State and dont have time to help me. Fine. If youre a student at Humboldt State, this may be the place for you. If youre on a cycling tour, skip this place and visit Life Cycle Bicycles instead (2 blocks north), where theyll do their best to get you back on the road without delay.

Like a good bike geek I enjoy all bike shops, but Revolution has soul. The boys behind the counter know how to provide excellent customer service without that slick or inattentive feel you may experience in other shops. The little shop on G Street provides expertise suitable for grandmas bikes or the racing pros (a lot of whom use this shop exclusively for repairs and gear) with no attitude. You will never leave here feeling like you walked into the wrong shop. kc

I LOVE Revolution Bicycle Repair. I have been a customer of theirs since Justin and Shawn purchased the shop many years ago. I live in Fortuna, but any time I need something for my bike, its SO worth the trip. The staff is knowledgeable and they are really helpful. They are a fantastic shop. I would highly recommend these guys to anybody!!! :-) I LOVE these guys! If they can fix MY bike, they can fix ANYTHING!

This is the best bike shop in town the might not have many things when u walk in like others do but the will order u anything for u bike i bought my 2013 kona satori with fox shox and i love it i reccomend this to all my friends not to metion that this is the only bike shop that sells konas so im greatfully the owner explaned all my qustions and the bike was on sale so i got a sweet deal

Best bike shop I have ever been to. Seriously theyre that good. Was new in town and they were able to squeeze a last minute bike build in for me despite being slammed. Staff is super friendly, very knowledgeable, and about as accomodating as you can be. Nothing but praise for Revolution, these guys rock!

Great shop! Great staff! Brought my bike in for a flat fix, which they did right then. The next day I ran over something on the Hammond Trail and got ANOTHER flat. They fixed free of charge just on the slim chance something was missed the first time around. Super nice folks, wont go anywhere else.

Probably the best bike shop in Humboldt county. Extremely helpful staff. I walked in with a flat yesterday and they fixed it on the spot. Not the first time they have done on the spot bike maintenance. I have been a very happy customer of theirs for about 12 years. I love revolution!!!!!!
