My husband and I were in their shop yesterday. I was looking for a bike for myself. We were helped by a gentlemen immediately (cant believe I forgot his name! Luke maybe?? Ugh my brain...). He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions I had (I had a lot!) They did my measurements and let me ride a few of the bikes to get a better feel of what I was looking for. I was torn between a bike they had at the store and a bike I found at another store. After showing him a picture of the bike at the other store, I asked for an honest opinion about which one he thought was the better deal. He wasnt sure, so he showed another gentlemen working. The other gentlemen was also very knowledgeable and was also able to answer all of my questions. Knowing they were probably going to lose a sale, they both told me that they thought the bike at the other store was a better deal. So I decided to go with the other bike. I truly appreciate all of their help and knowledge, but I appreciate even more that they cared enough to be honest and not just trying to make a sale. Although I did go to the other shop for my bike, I most definitely will be doing any future purchases at Trek on Shawnee. Thank you, gentleman! See you soon!

This Trek store is obviously passionate about bikes and superior customer service. After hunting for a quality bicycle for weeks and checking every cheaper option out there, my husband and I decided to stop in on a whim. We were immediatley helped and they were quick to figure out exactly what was needed without trying to upsell and stay within a set budget. We had to order the bike and it was in a week earlier than promised. Prior to handing it off, they gave it one extra look to make sure everythig was in excellent shape. My husband purchased a used bike off craigslist and brought it in for a tune up. Once again, they did not upsell and take advantage of newbies like other places we have been. Unfortunately, when we got the bike back (72 hour turn around) the issue wasnt fixed due to needing a load on the bike to even properly diagnose it. We called after we got the bike home and they picked the bike up the next morning, fixed it, and returned it in the evening. After a long day, the guy even took the time to talk my husband through a few questions he had about future upgrades. J We are new to biking, but are now completely hooked thanks to this stores help.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! SUPERB customer service, great products, knowledgeable and friendly staff, price matching, nice store. I cannot say enough about how extremely helpful and friendly every person that I came in contact with here were. Valerie gave me some advice on questions to ask and things to look for when I test drove a couple eBikes here. I did a bunch of research online, went to three other bike stores and ultimately am SO pleased that I chose the Shawnee Trek Store for my purchase. Mike price matched happily with zero hassle and zero pushiness. Mike helped me with finding the best fitting helmet for me and patiently answered all of my questions. They were so enthusiastic and excited for me and for my purchase. Got the bike in and assembled and adjusted and took ample time to answer all of my questions and gave helpful advice without ever making me feel stupid though I am admittedly a very inexperienced rider. A new employee, Chris, also patiently answered a million more questions and took the time to do the research for me on a bike rack that would best fit my bike and my budget and gave good advice on the best styles and brands of locks.

Ive never been into a high-end bike store before. Was very intimidated, but I finally decided to check the Trek store out. I walked in and was approached by salesmen Chris, and he asked me a few questions and started recommended bikes. Chris was super knowledgeable about all aspects of bike riding, you could tell, but he also made you feel good about being ignorant. I learned a lot just listening to Chris talk about different types of riders and riding styles. You could tell he didnt want me to take home something I was not in need of. I had my eye on the fat boy bike, but he steered me towards a hybrid since Im new to biking. A lot less expensive, so I know Chris had my best interest at heart and not his commission. Got to test-ride the bike outside, and Chris didnt stand out there to watch me peddle around. He went back inside. I was on my own. I liked that. Checking out took a while (slow something or other), but I had to wait for the accessory mods to be installed before I left anyway. It was a great experience and the staff here is very knowledgable. Cannot wait to ride with them during the KC Trek rides.

Amazing store. Amazing quality products. But products seemed way overpriced when compared to items found online. Maybe I caught these guys at a bad time. Reading the reviews the customer service sounds great. Not the experience I had. Four employees were standing at the counter when I walked in. They all looked at me but never said a word. 5 minutes later one approached me. Im sure he was knowledgeable about products but seemed very uncomfortable around people. I left there feeling out of place and pretty bummed out. I was hoping they could do some work to my new bike, but they didnt seem too interested in helping. Overall I was blown away by the quality. But very disappointed in the service.

Very rude. # mos ago I stopped by and bought a spoke for $1. Stopped by today and they wanted $5. I mentioned it only cost $1 a few months ago. The service person went off on me stating didnt I think his time was worth anything, he had to go cut it. (which he didnt, the guy before told me they have them pre-cut in packs of 500) I told him he was pretty rude since I was just asking why the price jump of 500%. He said he was tired of people thinking his time wasnt worth anything and I could go elsewhere. Went to Turner cycle got the spoke and hub for .99. Dont give rude people your business.

Took my Trek bike to the Trek Bike Store in Shawnee for service. They were supposed to call me when the work was done but they didnt, I had to call them. Went to get the bike and noticed the back tire had not been replaced. I paid for two tires not one! They put on the second tire and noticed the back break was dragging. They fixed the dragging break problem. I asked if the tune up I paid for was supposed to catch that. Their excuse was they were busy last week! $65 for a tune up and they missed something obvious! When you spend almost $300 I think you deserve better service.

Took 2 bikes in for major tune ups. I had to point out that the front tire was damaged and needed to be replaced (not just a new tube). I paid over $500 (which was fine given all the work I was asking them to do), but they did not re-wrap my handles which where pretty torn up. Every $80 tune up from major sporting goods stores do new wrap as part of a simple tune up. I asked about it when I came to pick them up and they quoted me another $30 to do it. That really left a sour taste in my mouth. No major issues, but they didnt leave me a completely satisfied customer.
