Scape Sheep

This is a second hand store, the merchandise is second hand, the management is poor, and the client is treated as second class citizen. The skinny Asian woman is running store in her own way. She is doing her own business in the store such as charging client to deliver furniture or selling spring scrolls on Chinese New Year, and etc. If you do not take care of her own business she is giving you hard time. She did not give me Senior Discount on Tuesday, it was against store policy. She complained about me to other clients, did not have basic manners. Pasadena management staff did not conduct a meeting to discuss the issues as they promised and ignored my email and letter. The way they resolved all problems is prohibiting me to go to the store without telling me what I did wrong. Salvation Army is using the name of Christ asking for donation all the time but failing to follow the spirit of Christ as they claimed to. I also get FREE food and clothes from a church in Alhambra. Pastor and church members are volunteers and work so hard and treat people with dignity and respect. Pastor is so humble and said that everything we get is from God not them. SALVATION ARMY SHOULD LEARN FROM THIS CHURCE.

Selection is hit or miss. Some items, like electronics, are priced too high to be attractive. This isnt a problem during 50% sales, IF electronics are included. Store sometimes has long lines on Friday/weekends. Also, if people are buying a lot of furniture and there is only one register open, you will wait. Small clothing selection, long wall of unsorted randomness, a few pots and pans. Moderate old art/wall decoration selection and a decent selection of highly priced electronic components and mis-matched computer speakers. Not the best deals or the best selection, but still worth a look once or twice a month.
