Worse experience ever!!!! I stopped by with my grandmother and there was a purse behind the counter Alon with other courses that were for sale and I asked about that specific purse and the cashier tells me that its been paid for. I ask her how if it was still behind the counter. She tells me because the customer is still shopping. I tell her well then the customer can hold ge purse if she wants it. Ive been to this specific store before and I know youre not allowed to hold anything its all on a first come first serve basis. She ignores another paying customer. Very unprofessional. I have my wallet in my hand ready to pay and she refused to sell me the item. I ask to speak to the manager and she informs me shes the manager. I will not be returning to this store. She was disrespectful and rude and I wasnt the only customer that was not satisfied with the service on top of the store being covered with boxes of items that still need to be organized it was very messy and disorganized

Great selection, its the thrill of the find. Lots of great hidden treasures. Things are always on sale so you cant go by the sticker price just ask one of the friendly workers like Teresa. Shes great about making a fair deal. Also people rating on here complaining about the prices when they get it for free, yes they do but are you ignorant people aware of where the money goes that they make? It goes back into the community for services and help the needy and less fortunate. They are much better and nicer items then the GW here. I appreciate the workers and what they do. Thank you!

Fantastic shop that features gently to barely used high end quality furniture, home accessories, and appliances.Have purchased numerous items from this place and connote believe the outstanding value offered for the very reasonable price tag. Staff is extremely helpful and they even offer a delivery service if you dont have a truck!Best kept secret in the Downey Bay, a gem of a store.

Awesome customer service! All the people that works in this store are just wonderful. They are very helpful. Though the prices are high for used items but thats not their fault. It came from the main Salvation Army warehouse who priced the items. But I really love coming here because of the customer service. They all deserved 5 stars!

THAT PLACE IS RIDICULOUSLY OVER PRICED! THEY WANT TO GET RICH OFF OF THE STUFF THEY GET FOR FREE. THE QUALITY OF THE STUFF IS BORDER LINE TRASH! BESIDES THE PRICES, THE PLACE ITSELF WILL GIVE YOU THE CREEPS! ITS DIRTY AND DISGUSTING WITH EVERYTHING ALL OVER THE PLACE, AND THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE ARE RUDE AND STRAIGHT WEIRD!

can someone please post thier buisness hours. stuff is somewhat overpriced they will sometimes negotiate if they like you I guess which is messed up and a second hand store should have reasonable prices for the items on its shelves such as a broken I tend selling for the price of something in working order lol

First off when did Salvation Army become a boutique?? I found a tiered dessert marked 5.99 when I got to the counter the lady said this is marked wrong yanked the tag off and said its 10$ ok on top off all this its dirty unorganized and I will never go back not worth the trip.

It is over priced for their everything... But they do have an awesome 30 dollar special where u can stuff as much as u want in a bag...wich is pretty freakin awesome.. And its a thrift store so duh they have horrible quality stuff...but theres always those buried goodies :)

Chris is right these people are nutts!!! 60 dollars for a vcr? You could get a brand new dvd player for 20 dollars. The prices and quality of this place STINKS.. I did a quick walk through and saw nothing of value... OVER PRICED JUNK.

this is where I go when I want to getaway, its small but has a little of everything, their selection of furniture is very nice and has books and movies to choice from, the people that work their are very friendly. worth going

Make sure you bring a pair of rubber gloves and put them on before touching anything inside the store. Also stay away from the guy with the Huge Sore around his mouth. Not sure what that is....

This is supposed 2 b a store ppl that r broke (like myself!) Come and spend little 2 nothing on stuff. Tell me why buying something from here is like buying it at an actual store?! Too expensive!

Thing there are expensive considering that they were donated. I personally have found better things in yard sales and they were cheaper than at the store

Everything is priced as if it were new. I love the other salvation army stores...never actually bought anything here. No bathroom.

They are truly a non-profit unlike Goodwill and do take most everything just dont take them junk
