There are several non-profit thrift stores closer to my home than this store, but I ONLY donate to this one. I tired of donating to other stores...items of good market value that promised an easy sell and quick turn over...just to be addressed rudely by employees. I also witnessed employees at other stores going through my donations and carrying them to their cars before I pulled from the parking lot. I took a donation to AIDS Assistance Thrift Store about 7 years ago and was treated respectfully. They even acted genuinely appreciative of the donation. Even more, ALL of my donations showed up on their shelves within a day or two. (I checked.) I have donated MANY times to this store, and the reception is always the same. I did some research and found that they really do donate toward the cause they state, and that they also support the local community in many ways. They passed my "integrity test." I am a sentimental guy and I also tended to hold onto things of monetary value that I didnt know what to do with. So it was not until I found this store that I knew where to donate all the things I needed to let go of. Weigh out the time and headaches of selling that stuff on Ebay or Etsy, and youll find youre better to donate the stuff and spend your time with loved ones instead.

This place has unique stuff. The problem is that their prices are way too high.l wish people would remember their things are donated and not to be so greedy. Its for a good cause and that is great, so why not let the lower prices draw more business through the door?

Messy, disorganized, like going through your great aunts garage. An old fashioned thrift store experience, be prepared to rummage. Found some winners and the prices are dirt cheap.
