I left my only management job at Papa Johns to come be a part of this new store and their pizza department. I was SO excited to be part of this experience, and for a better job opportunity. I worked 3 years in pizza, and I joked that I was gonna make Picasso Pizza for whole foods..But unfortunately a better opportunity is far from what this experience was.. After extensive training and sharing the anticipation with everyone this store opening was far from successful. My department Preparded foods was 15 people short opening day! Our manager Michael was sick for all of our hands on training and we were stuck with "support staff" who werent supportive simply because none of them were on the same page with whole food procedure, because they were all from different whole food stores.. If that doesnt already sound like a disaster, I get to my new job and NEVER touched pizza, never even learned about it. They tried to make me be a chef, as an optimistic person I remained open minded about it.. Not happy, but optomistic, it was like a stress test day in and day out.. after watching all the other departments settle in, and listen to other employees talk about how much they love their new job.. I couldnt help but wonder why our department was still a disaster.. And why I was still dreading to come to work. I felt so dedicated to the company that instead of throwing the towel in I followed the chain on commands all the way up to Ted.. Who after hearing me out told me to remain patient, his other management joked that feeling like a chicken with your head cut off was normal (that was so encouraging to someone who felt defeated) After a few more days I told myself that being broke would be better than working for whole foods. What Ted failed to realize is that I had already remained patient with them, I wanted him to do something in return for the amount of patients I had already given not tell me to have more. I left the store with no intention of coming back, I called my old job and got it back.. I just cant help but wonder if I wouldve had a fair shot at success and a better opportunity if I was part of a different Whole foods store, and Whole foods experience. This whole foods didnt give the whole picture.

Ive been shopping here for a couple months now and love it. Its very clean and organized. Everything is great quality. Not many places can you find pasture-raised eggs. Employees are abundant and always willing to help you find something. (Ive only encountered one bad employee in the deli.) They have a variety of dining options as well: salad/olive bars, sandwich counter, pizza, coffee, juice/smoothies, and a bar. I had a chicken pesto sandwich and it was DELICIOUS! I will point out they have 2 refrigerator doors worth of vegan "meat" options; as another reviewer said they didnt have anything. Its at the back wall of the store. Also they have an app which is great to save extra! If youre willing to spend more to get organic produce and high-quality meats, its a great place to shop!

I got stuck in a checkout with my 3 month old and 2 year old and the most incompetent cashier. They had Cliff bars for 10/$10 but they still rang in at $1.69 each. When I pointed this out, she had no clue. They had turkey for $9.99/lb but failed to put a sticker on the bag. They replaced the sticker but at $12.99/lb price. After 14 minutes in the checkout and me pleading with them to just take those items off my bill I left without the items and two very cranky kids. Its too bad no one seems to know what they are doing there at the cost of my time, patience, and had I not caught it, my wallet.

This store is not as great as the north ave location the staff is not well trained by any means the deli turkey was extremely dried out and when i asked for sandwich slices for the cut they told me they could only do one cut which was paper thin. The store is also lacking in vegan options as well as gluten free bakery options as a previous reviewer stated. This store needs to have better trained employees in the prepared food section and start copying the north ave location. Will continue to drive 20min to get better quality and a better customer service experience.

At my first visit, I thought this store was amazing in its variety of healthier food choices but a bit expensive. After my second visit though, I realized that for the quality of the food and service quality I received, its not so expensive, especially when taking advantage of the sale prices. The employees of each department that I spoke with when I needed some help were very knowledgeable and informative about the foods they sell. Its also obvious that they share my concerns about buying healthier food and were happy to assist me with that goal in mind.

My first time at this Whole Foods in Tosa. No maps at store, so its hard to find things. I was there to purchase the one item that only Whole Food sells (no other stores in MKE area do anymore). Trekked the 15 miles and they had a sale sign up for them but were totally out. "None in the back!" Couldnt tell me when theyd get them in. Called next day and they now have them. Grrrr. Not worth the trip. Prices crazy high! Grapes $4/lb when even Sendiks is $2.50 and Aldi whose grapes are just as tastey are $1.84.

Danion is one of workers I encountered on my first trip there. I asked him where something was and he ignored me and continued to proceed to stocking as if I wasnt standing there. I asked again and this time he gave me a one word answer and I still kept asking for help. I even asked for him to help me and he finally pointed( didnt bother walking over to show me) to the item. This is my first time coming inside Whole Foods and I will NEVER come back again.

Exactly what I was hoping for in a Whole Foods! Much closer to me than the Milwaukee one, so I was hoping the selection would match. It might be a bit smaller, but still has everything I was looking for. Of course, you pay for what you get, but I love the speciality items they carry. Staff is friendly and the quick items (slices of pizza, baked goods, hot food bar) are fantastic!!

The best grocery store. The layout is good here, open and fairly easy to navigate. Whole foods is actually a great place to go eat, the prepared foods and hot & cold salad bars have great stuff. I actually really like their sushi, and you can check out, head to the bar and enjoy a tasty beverage with your meal. They even have kombucha on tap!

Was very disappointed in the opening of this store. I thought they would have a lot of vegan options since the store on North Ave has so many amazing choices. I was left empty handed. They did not have anything in the deli nor did they have the amount of variety of Chicago vegan cakes... Ill be going to the North Avenue store

I will continue to trek to the one on North and Prospect. This one doesnt have the vast selection of that location, especially their hot foods and some of the fish market deli items look like theyve been sitting out. Doesnt look fresh. Also some of the staff seem really clueless as to the price of something when asked.
