Ok, Jewel. I was in the store today and spoke with the store manager Scott regarding the deteriorating conditions in which they must be keeping their produce since it turns rotten a day after purchase. I initially spoke with Scott one week ago, after bringing home a box of rotten organic salad mix - 2nd in three weeks! Subsequently, the blackberries I purchased on Friday, were green on Saturday afternoon, so I was full of complaints. Scott assured me he would look into it and asked that we come back for a gift card for our troubles. He took my name and said he would have the card waiting for us the following week. Surprise! The customer service desk had no idea what we were talking about when we came into the store. Scott, who promised either him or the store director Dave, would be there when we come in (and I clearly indicated we will be in the store around 7 pm). Today, I took time out of my day to go to the store and speak with Scott directly. He had no idea what happened. He presented me with the $25 gift card and was clearly unhappy that I was in the store to begin with. This evening I opened a box of raspberries which we purchased less than 24 hours ago.. Guess what? Green and moldy.. This store is starting to present a health hazard. I hope everyone reads this.. This sort of thing should not be happening. It never happens with produce from other local grocers, so I guess we will need to travel farther to ensure our food is fresh.

I agree with the people that say this is the worst Jewel store ever. Yes the produce always looks bad, the service is usually poor, long lines to check out, non competitive prices. I have had 2 bad experiences at the meat counter. Once being asked by a clerk (maybe a bakery clerk?) if I could come back in 10 minutes as the person who worked the meat counter was on a break. Yesterday I waited somewhere around 10 to 15 minutes to be serviced at the counter as there was only 1 clerk (this at around 5:30?). I used to shop here a few times a week but now I seldom come in. I really dont think theses people have any clue at all. Sucks big time here! Oh and one more thing that really annoys me is that when you see a sale and think wow what a great price, you must remember to read the very small print on the sign where it usually states something like "must by four." Better to go to Marianos or Sunset.

I love this shop. We shop here pretty regularly. There are lots of organic food choices - fruits, vegetables, milk, juices, chips, cookies, all natural ice creams etc. The prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality and service are great. Theres also a MyMax membership, though which you can accumulate points on every purchase and then redeem this points for up to 20 cents per gallon discount on Shell gas stations.

This is the worst Jewel I have ever been to. The last time I went there I had to wait in line for 40 minutes just to purchase three things! There were only 2 lines open and when another customer asked one of the employees, who was chatting with another employee, if they can open another lane the employee was very rude and laughed in her face! I have not seen anything like this and I will avoid this place like the plague.

Decent selection but prices are very high on produce and meat like all Jewel stores. They also are frequently sold out of items. Certain produce is consistently low quality compared to other stores and has been for years (e.g. mushy browning "white" mushrooms, black disintegrating cilantro, etc.) Prices are more reasonable on processed foods, and I avoid going here unless these are the bulk of my shopping that week.

Worst customer service of any jewel in the area! Supervisors have no idea what customer service is. Last night supervisor thought it was more important to chit chat with an employee instead of taking care of the six customers standing in line waiting for the 1 cashier that was open. When one guest said something the supervisor said "Im not done telling my story, when im finished i will assist you"

Love the pharmacy staff here.... would be 5 stars if they didnt change it from a 24 hour jewel to one that closes at specific time. I chose the pharmacy due to 24 hrs availability to get my meds then got to know the staff who are awesome. They did a disservice to the community changing the hours. Will still go since like I said the staff is great! Just a bummer about the change of hours.

I hate this store so much. 1. All they have there is food and more food. 2. They got rid of the self checkout. 3. They never have my prosciption drugs, I always have to come back the next day. 4. There are always old people in there. ALWAYS, it could be 3am and there would be a line of old people waiting to check out or wandering around inside with empty shopping carts.

First of all this was the worse store before a Bagger named “Kevin” started he is so pleasant and made the best shopping experience for me he started not too long ago but is the nicest kid you will ever meet. And is much nicer than some of the snotty cashiers I tell all my friends to go to this store because of him.

Every time I come here, I ask myself, "Why"? The customer service is terrible and Ive had to bag my own groceries on multiple occasions. No one cares here...this is the Walmart of grocery stores. I just come here because its close to my house. These people could take some lessons from Sunset foods.

The store is always clean. The associates are all friendly and knowlegeable. Sometimes they dont have everything wanted in the sales sheet. They also dont change the roasted chickens as often as I feel they should...I saw some there last week that were over 4 hours old.

Since the SELF CHECKERS are gone now you have to wait in line forever. Early in a.m. there are never enough check out lines open. People working there are busy putting up stock or just walking around the store looking busy. Why NOT OPEN MORE CHECK OUT LANE!!

I usually love their freshly squeezed orange juice and have introduced it to quite a few of my friends. The last one bought 7/3 is a big mistake - too sweet to be natural and totally unlike the ones prior. I wonder if this is a one off or a new recipe.

Service is fine, the store is clean, but the produce is often times unappealing. The Jewel commercial with produce singing "were fresh" is opposite of what often is stocked. Prices are higher than neighboring groceries.

There are always good sales going on here but it is wise to always check the expiration dates of the goods you are purchasing because sometimes the items are near the sell by date/expiration date or past it.

A little expensive, and the selection isnt as huge as Woodmans, but the meat is always fresh. The produce usually is, too. Their house made guacamole is very yummy, and the layered taco dip.
