Ive been a long time lover of Piggly Wiggly...unfortunately, this store does not match any of the others Ive been in. Regardless of the time I go, the shelves are often missing quite a few products. The produce section is just miserable, with many of the items having mold on them and flies surrounding them. Today, I went to buy Babybel cheese, only to find that more than half of them were long expired (dates of December 11th and 25th, today is January 2nd). In addition to the many other examples I can give you about poor product quality, the employees are not any better. Regularly when I approach a register, the cashier will be off at the counter talking to other employees. When they finally notice me, they dont bother to greet me, even though I smile and say hi, and instead talk to the bagger about inappropriate gossip the whole time. I will not be shopping here anymore, as it has been just an awful experience too many times.

Its a grocery store! Reading some of the comments here, its hard to see how an ordinary grocery store inspires such extremes in customer points of view. Is it the chronic disgruntled versus a claque, maybe? Years of experience with this store (going back to early times when it was a Sentry under essentially the same management) tells me Majdeckis Piggly Wiggly is a bit more expensive than area grocery stores that do not accept credit cards. Sometimes it has exceptional sale prices. I shop there mostly for its trustworthy meat department and pretty good deli, which is a source for higher quality provisions from Usingers and from Boars Head. Over the years, the management and a good majority of the staff have gone out of their way to be accommodating. In that sense especially it is a bit "old fashioned."

Nice with selections you normally will not see in other stores. I like that they support local businesses. I love their meat department as the meats always look nice. Lacking seafood or a meat counter. Their produce is not always the greatest. What bugs me the most is the staff. Dont bring your problems to work and discuss in the open in front of customers, while in the checkout line. Also staff members yelling /talking from across the store. Its not professional and i dont want to hear about whos dating who....or "did you hear about so and so?"

My favorite grocery store, period. The staff are friendly and the store is clean and well stocked. They always offer to go the extra mile when I need something for a special event. It is common to see the store manager and owner bagging groceries in order to take care of their customers. The homemade chicken salad in the deli is the bomb! Even more importantly, whenever I go there, the conditions are always consistent, the sales are good and I find what I am looking for.

Without a doubt my favorite of the grocery stores in the area. When the last owners converted it to a Piggly Wiggly they made sure to keep the bakery, deli and the butcher as before so you get the advantages of a national chain with a great local touch. The staff is great and you can still get a cookie for the kids in the bakery while shopping. Prices are good and the pig points for discounted gasoline is great!

Pretty nice deals but feels like an older style grocery store. They still have outdated terminals and cant scan in their own loyalty card without the actual card/keychain card. Usually I end up telling them my phone number instead. Friendly staff though who will help you if you need it to get your groceries to the car (my mother in law needed help once when she went there on her own)

The produce section isnt well stocked and the quality is low. The items are usually bruised or moldy. The bagging is also really bad. I put items on the counter grouped together, and they seem to go out of their way to put meats with fruit, frozen with breads, and cans with anything fragile.

I live shopping the deli. They do not normally pre-slice the lunchmeat or cheese. ( hard salami, pepperoni, etc. when on sale, are the exception). The packaged meat area offers a good selection and the butchers and stocking staff are friendly and eager to help with questions.

This is truly the best place to shop in the area. Such a nice clean store with very outgoing,friendly customer pleasing employees... I recently moved to the area and I am truly enjoying it. Finding Majdeckis Piggly Wiggly adds to the charm of the community.

Deli selection is always good. Produce and fruits also. Liquor prices slightly above average, but not enough to turn you away. Store is clean and organized. Only downside, they need to add more cashiers when theres more than 3 people in a line.

Horrible service! Super long lines at 130pm. Then they finally opened a couple new lanes and didnt take the next in line. Ridiculous! Also had dirty conveyor belt. Cashier and bagger where friendly and efficient once I was checking out tho.

Terrible groceries. I have shopped at this place for 10 years when it was sentry. It used to be an awesome grocery store. Now that its Piggly Wiggly you cannot get produce that is in rotten or moldy. Meat department has gone downhill too.

My family has been going to this store for a very long time. Even after the change from Sentry it still has the feel of a hometown Grocery store. The only downfall is the meat dept. But still my favorite.

This is a perfectly adequate grocery store, but what I especially like is their selection of cold and hot lunch items. Its actually a great place to go to for a quality, quick lunch.

Great deals, ok produce. The meat that is on a good sale is not usually a great grade of meat. Not a huge selection of stuff, but has alot of things you cant find anywhere else.

Store has gone down hill. Quality of food isnt that good. When it was Sentry you at least had good quality meat,fruit and vegetables.
