The management team here seems to be pretty careless... I know someone that works at this location and they tell me all the time how they basically have to do triple the work of everyone else because theyre always getting assigned to clean and organize areas of the store that have expired product and a lot of it... this seems to happen way too often... I also witnessed an older gentleman today that waited about TEN minutes at a register while no one was in sight to help... then I saw THREE workers come from the office and break room area... one of them being the manager!! they proceeded to talk and snicker amongst each other while again, the old gentleman waited with a look on his face like, wtf...., after a couple more minutes they finally proceeded to help him.... I walked in there to make a purchase and asked the same lady the assisted the old man what time they open. She said 8am..... I said, well dont be surprised if you receive a complaint from the older man that you just assisted because he was sitting here waiting.... she looked at me like she had no idea what I was talking about. I described the man to her and emphasized that SHE JUST CHECKED HIM OUT. She then proceeded to simply shrug her shoulders and acted like it didnt matter..... As someone thats worked in sales and customer service for years. That kind of behavior is simply unacceptable!! The only reason Ill continue to shop here is because of the prices! But making sure I check dates on the product as Ive been told multiple times they have expired product but fail to do anything about it....

Every time Im in there I see tons of expired food, some overdue by weeks like deli meats and yogurt which is disgusting... Occasionally happens with produce as well. Whatever their home site says, produce is not that fresh so beware! Found several bags of stinky moldy potatoes in my last trip, rotten tomatoes too... Milk or bakery products expired by several days and more than once found moldy bread... Comments would be made to staff members more than once by myself, friends,and aquaintences ... but no change is seen, maybe the managers themselves dont even care, though in sure business has dropped because it never seems busy anymore (sad since its a new store!) A lot of the staff will just hang around and chat- maybe one person doing all the work while they others good off leaving the store not as clean as it should be or having customers wait long periods before getting service even when its not busy.... And some arent even very friendly after all that, on top of being pretty unresponsive or rude about discouraging comments on products. One girl with dark hair and glasses always seems to be busy and upbeat though, along with a young blonde I dont see often enough. I have to warn a lot of people away from anything perishable, now mostly go myself for deals on boxed or canned items.

Meat selection and prices are comparable to other stores. They have a lot of processed meats. Luncheon, hams, Hotdogs, fish, and more. Produce selection is VERY limited and the prices are higher than average. Its a condensed store. With about 30% less stock than an ALDIS store. They do carry quite a bit of name brand. Extensive selection of frozen foods. About 50% more frozen foods than ALDIS. Very nice selection of dairy. It is difficult to find someone to check you out. Its hard to find any store employee. I have talked to two different men that were in management positions. They honestly did not have interest in my concerns. Shameful. Ive come in and found great deals on markdowns. Examples : cat litter 1.50. Hamburger 1.50 a pound. Eggs for fifty cents and more. If you dont mind the above things and are looking for a bargain, stop in. If you are in a rush for specific items, go elsewhere. Limited selection and no staff.

While select items are quality and a good deal, they are far and few between overall. Youre much better off shopping at Walmart or Aldi. If Aldi would be considered a downscale Trader Joes, then Save A Lot is essentially an upscale Dollar Tree food section. I only shop here when Aldi is closed and Walmart is far, and every time *something* makes me regret not going elsewhere.

I liked the store it was clean and cheerful. I had issues with two products. I purchased a cream cake and the store has there own brand of ice cream cones. The icecream cone part was soggy and seems like either thawed out and refrozen or old. The cinnamon cake was dated 11-10 and was actually moldy on the bottom it was gross. Hopefully other customers have better results

Nice & compact - no need to walk miles to the dairy section. A half way decent selection of products. The frozen food section should really have doors to keep the food truely frozen.

The staff and management are super friendly and helpful. The store is well maintained and stocked. The prices are great on most items, and the atmosphere is relaxed
