Village Ace has won me over. Yes, the store is super clean and well stocked. It goes without saying that the staff is friendly and helpful. The reason Vilage Ace is my go-to hardware store is because they truly go the extra mile. I recently purchased a Weber grill from them that had to be ordered. Not only did the owners son assemble it for me, he delivered it to our condo and connected it to our gas hook-up on the deck. The crazy thing is that I did not get charged for this service, David M. did it on his own time. Remarkable!!!

Average time 15 minutes? No way. Ive been there every few weeks since they opened their doors. It is a godsend for the neighborhood. Before I walked there I drove to its ancestor (still living) up north. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I want to tell people, especially women, who dont know abc to fix xyz describe the part or bring it in. Theyll help. They have kitchen and dog/cat stuff too. I dont go there as often as Id like because the kitchen and pet aisles hurt my wallet. Go, go!

Super helpful! Thanks Ace Hardware! One of my employees broke off a key in a lock at my business. After trying for 2 hours to get the stuck broken key out of the lock I went in to Ace on Prospect to look for more tools that might work to get it out. The guy at the key counter was so nice and made me a little handmade tool specially designed for just this. It worked within about 2 minutes! So relieved not to have to have to call a locksmith for the job on this Holiday weekend! Thanks!

Best hardware store in Milwaukee! They carry Benjamin Moore and know everything about paint you could ever imagine. I have been here almost everyday for two weeks and they have been nothing but knowledgeable, kind, and patient & prices are very fair. Highly recommend - go support your neighborhood small business!

I have shopped countless numbers of Ace Hardware Stores. This is the first where it was not a pleasant experience. The young manager seems to be of the impression that customers are there to act according to his liking, not the opposite. His right. Not a pleasant experience.
