I had an okay experience at the warehouse, despite having to wait a while for service & being cold in their store since theres no heat. None the less, I bought some couches with a 5 year Guardian protection plan/spray... After waiting a week, even though they promote "same day delivery," the delivery guys were finally here! One major problem: the delivery guy was a complete ass! He wanted me to sign a waiver stating that if they damage my couches while bringing them to the basement, they would not be liable for any damages. I told him that I was not going to sign a waiver & that I would not be paying for damaged couches if he were to ruin them while bringing them downstairs. He then proceeded to say that the stairway was too tight & that he wouldnt bring my sofas downstairs until I signed the waiver. I asked him to wait a few minutes since my bf was down the road - so he could take off the doorway. The delivery driver then said that he had other people to deliver to and that he did not have time. He even had the nerve to ask me for a hammer & screw driver so he could take off my door! There was no way that he was touching anything on my property! As we were exchanging words, my bf pulls up, takes off the door, and the sofas went downstairs perfectly fine! I called American Freight & spoke with a manager named Samantha in the Milwaukee, WI location. She said that she had several complains about the driver, that she had issues with him the same morning, and that shed talk to their lead driver & call me back at the end of the day. She also told me to go ahead and sign the waiver, and if any damages were done, theyd replace it for free. YEAH, I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED! And of course, she didnt call me back. Fast forward a week later, my friends kid threw up on the sofa & it absorbed into the cushions; it did NOT repel the way it was suppose to with the Guardian spray/protection plan. I called the store, again, and they advised me to call Guardian. After calling Guardian and being on hold for an hour, it turns out that the store NEVER faxed over my purchase, therefore, Guardian didnt have my info in their system. I called the store AGAIN and spoke with Samantha. Samantha assured me shed fax it right away & call me back once she got the confirmation. I told her that ive spoken to her in the past & she has said the same thing and has never called me back - and she goes on to say that shes only 1 person and can only do so much because shes with other customers. I explained that I am a customer as well & its frustrating when they have such horrible services & I have to go back and forth all the time with them. She goes on to say that they load their receipts to Guardian 1x a month and that usually stains dont occur in the first week or two of purchases. UHM, THAT IS WHY I GOT THE PROTECTION PLAN, INCASE OF EMERGENCIES. YOU CAN NOT PLAN FOR A KID TO THROW UP. I am so sick of this store. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN & I ADVISE EVERYONE ELSE TO STAY AWAY!

I fiance a sectional couch from here in February of 2016, loved the couch, but when the seam came undone and other weird defects that were not cause by us, and the connection part broke, I call the warranty company that I had to purchase (they told me because the fiance company required it, so refuse to pay if it broke wouldnt be an issue was the reason given to me), so got it, couch arrived. Couple of months later it started falling apart. I called the warranty comany, Guardian, and was told I had to contact the store because it is still under the one year manufacturer warranty. So I call the store, and was told I had to take pictures and send an email with them attach to his manager Robert. I took the pictures and sent the email. I got a response from Robert saying he receive it and will let me know when they would come fix it. Never heard from him again! I call back a couple weeks later and ask to speak to him. He told me he was working on it and would would let me know as soon as he heard back from the company. He said he should hear something next week. I call back again, and again was told he hadnt heard back. At this point I told him just take the couch back because I am not going to keep paying for a cheap couch (close to $1000 for the couch). He said they cant take it back. He promise he would call Monday. It has been two months since I last talk to him and of course havent heard back. I even talk to personal fiance bout the situation because they keep calling for payment. The lady said she would call Robert herself and see if that "puts fire on him" to fix it. Never heard from him, but she kept calling and kept promising to call him. She wanted to set a pay date for the following week and she would keep calling Robert to help me get this fix. So I agree, and made the payment. SUPRISE she stop calling or emailing and still have not heard back from him. Not only am I dealing with all this crap but personal finance just report on my credit with false info making my credit score lower! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! I have reported them to bbb, contacting channel 6 later today, I have my lawyer looking into it, and possibly will be leaving them with my couch, and either I get new couch or they cancel everything, refund me what I paid into it, and I go to better company (which is my ideal choice). Those 5 star comments I bet arent even legit people. They seem to do this to everyone just seems not everyone is leaving the legit reviews. I will work my best to give every site I can that list this comany the true review of them being a scam. I hope if you got scam by these company you use the many tools out there to help me close them down so Noone else has to go through this.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND THEIVES...Leroy sold me a 3 piece bedroom set that he didnt have all the prices too a month ago. The day the set was scheduled for delivery I received a call from who I believe was Leroy himself although he claims it was another worker. Stating that they didnt have the chest but they were on their way with the head board frame night stand an mattress. I repeatedly stated that I would rather wait until they had all 3 prices before delivery. His response was they would have the chest in a day or 2 that they would get it from another store an Id have it in a couple days! I asked repeatedly what if they couldnt get the chest then what. He kept insititing that they could and would get and have the chest within a couple days.. That was almost a month ago. I stopped by the store 2 days after delivery concerning the chest and was told by Leroy that it wasnt him who called that morning and that they should have waited until they had all 3 prices before delivery. He basically tried to blame the whole situation on someone named robert! At that time I told Leroy that I would give him 15 days to get my chest. Or I wanted my money back. As of yesterday I had given him 20 and still no chest. I stopped by the store yesterday and was told by Leroy that his driver was in Madison picking up my chest and she would be back by 6pm and I would have my chest that night. Still no chest! I called leroy at 630 and his excuse this time was his driver still hadnt made it back and that I would have my chest today after the truck was unloaded they would deliver. Its one lie after another with this guy. I asked him at 630 when I come for my chest tomorrow what his excuse was gonna be he swore theyd have it if not be would have to refund my money. As of now Im waiting for the store to open so I can either get my chest or my money. This will be my last attempt before going to the proper authorities including bbb, contact 6, and court! My son has had his clean clothes on the floor for about a month now bc he has nothing to put them in. This is very unprofessional almost a scam. You cannot keep ppl money for items they bought and didnt receive. I will not rest until I get my money I will not wait any longer for a chest thats never gonna arrive. THIS IS CONSIDERED A SCAM AND THEFT.
