I too had a bad experience with Thomasville Furniture. Now, let me say, after talking circles and circles with the chain itself the issue was resolved but resolved with less than quality I had been charged for. My saga the like prior reviewer started at the Naperville store and trickled over to Oak Brook after the store closed. We ordered over $8000 worth of furniture, 5 pieces total. Of the 5 pieces, 3 had very significant quality issues. One leather chair had to be completely replaced. My coffee table, the veneer was curling off, had to be replaced, and the king of all issues, the custom 3-piece sectional was upholstered wrong. They installed the fabric wrong side out. Now, for the two pieces replaced, ok.. they did that no biggie. The sofa, we had to physically go into the store to show them the horrible wear of the fabric after only a few months. We had to resort to this after several countless attempts with their customer service to resolve the issue. We were reassured many times over the phone the wear was typical. Being in the field I knew this was not the case. After going into the store we were told by the store manager the fabric was installed backwards. Bless this managers heart, she, without any issue did replace the entire sofa. I write this about 1 1/2 years after the whole issue because I did appreciate the (now no longer there) managers honesty in doing the right thing but unfortunately, the furniture, all of it, isnt wearing very well at all 1 1/2 years after. Even the replacement the kind manager ordered for us. This really resonates because the sales person said the upholstery selection was perfect for those with a family. I have a hole in my upholstery after a year (and we dont wear things that hard.) It is a giant disappointment as far as what we spent and what we actually got. We spent more because we thought the furniture would wear better. (Ya know.. you get what you pay for) It just isnt the case. I wish there quality coincided to their price tag because they truly do have some nice styles. Ill never purchase anything from this organization again. We bought from Ethan Allen too and it was like night and day the experiences between the two stores! Buyer beware unfortunately.

My experience is a never ending nightmare. When my wife wanted to special order furniture from the Oak Brook location I expressed concerns and doubts. The salesman assured me as a longtime employee that the furniture would take 8-10 weeks. He even wrote this on the contract. 10 weeks later you get strung along for more weeks. At this point the manager states that he was incorrect and it will take double the time. At 16 weeks you can build a home. They fall back to apologizing yet pointing out the fine print clause on the back that supersedes anything guaranteed to you stating theres nothing you can do. hey took 100% up front and even if the time becomes two years, they are sorry and youll have to wait. I would find a different store with better reviews. Im $5000. unhappy and its still going,. I wish I followed my instincts and walk away.

I had a great experience here. The saleswomen were friendly and knowledgeable and really helped me design and select a perfect couch for my new home. The selection in the store has a wide range of high quality pieces. I would recommend visiting here if you need good furniture.
