First of i want say that the sales part was somewhat ok. Not great but OK. We had 2 separated orders delivered on the same date. While i was watching them set up one bed, the second person was setting up the kids bed. I think because i was watching the didnt screw around. Once the kids bed was set up, it look good and they left. Come a few hours later. I walk in the headboard is crooked and the left side if the bed is sticking out. I tried to push it back and it started creaking bad. I stopped. I took the mattress and the pad of and what i saw i was shocked. These "installers" assembled it at a 25-30 degree angle, where the left side of the bed was sticking out. The plywood plank on the frame were angled and screwed down as well, so that is why it was pushing out. I took me about 1 hours to disassemble it and put back together properly and with a level. I called the store and they were were rude and unprofessional and refused to help. The put me in touch with the delivery company who said they are not responsible and if i was issue, i can go kiss their ass and sue. I called customer loyalty and i was told that there is nothing they they can do even though they admitted fault. They tried to blame me for not watching them closes enough or give them directions- Come on- these are adults. They offered $25 gift card to their store and that is all. No apology, not refund for install services nothing. Overall very rude incompetent department. I made a big mistake shopping there

So upset...and angry. We bought a sofa and it was delivered on 30 Dec 2015. After one week we noticed the seat cushions sagging. We thought well its new and maybe it will stop sagging once its broken in but we rotated the cushions anyway. The next week we rotated them again and again and then in Feb I called the service number and was told the sofa was under a manufacturers warranty and someone would be contacting me. Two weeks later still no followup so I called back. Talked to someone who now tells me that its not covered....Its a new sofa...maybe it has a defect....but how would the Room Place know since they never investigated....Or is there furniture so inferior that this is normal. Which is strange because we were replacing a 3year old sofa that had begun to sag....which was not as bad as this one after 2 months. I requested a General Manager to call and was given her name and still after an additional 2 weeks no response. I even called the store where we purchased the sofa located at 6741 Dempster St, Morton Grove, IL 60053 and spoke to someone who assured me that he was going to elevate the status of my issue and someone would call ....still waiting......

This is the worst experience ever!!!! Im a first time customer... Im putting a star just because I have to in order to put my rating. We had scheduled a delivery for Oct 8 and on that day I discover our order is on 2 separate trucks. Both orders had different delivery times. So I call to reschedule for Oct 12. Dispatcher said I was all set. Soon after that I get a call that delivery was outside my house. Luckily I was near by so I met them. I called back again explaining what had happened and telling them I wanted to make sure the second truck was actually rescheduled for Oct 12. Again, they said I was set to go. Guess what todays date is?!? Oct 12. I received no call so I decide to call them and Im being told my order is not on schedule. Really?!?!? I took a day off work to make sure I was home and Im being told its not on route. They say I can expect to get it on Nov 2nd. Its just ridiculous. What am I suppose to sit on??? I am obviously returning it all!!!! Dont go there!!! Bad customer service!!!!

I, too work in the customer service business. Blogs and forums are excellent sources of info to share...For the folks who werent completely satisfied with the quality of the customer service and/or the quality of the furniture, etc. doesnt it make sense to take your concerns to the source ( The stores management team) rather than air discontent in a blog or forum? Maybe, Im still "Old school." If Ive spent my hard earned dollars anywhere and Im not completely satisfied, guess what Id do? If I werent able to get satisfaction by contacting the stores upper management team, then Id also forward my feedback in a blog and/or forum. I agree...bad service is bad service and the same with quality of any product,...Both must addressed and resolved quickly. We are all consumers and deserve world class customer service at all times. Now dont get me started about my local cable company, who shall remain nameless LOL Peace to all!

My first and my last purchase In November 27 I bought a bedroom set with 2 beds , for over 2 grand for my kids they were so excited... I picked the furniture myself at their warehouse to avoid 140 dollars delivery charge, but both beds came the front part with different colors (everything was in boxes so did not check them at pick up time) and I couldnt set up both beds , a week after that was delivered with the right colors but without drawers handles, frustrated my wife went to this store to request the handle and she was told that the handles will arrive in 4 days, guess what nothing, and I gave them almost 2 weeks and called today December 17 and I was told that the handle are coming in middle of January, they have an upset costumer now, me.

It was a bad experience. We went there to buy a recliner sofa. The person who was showing us the sofa showed one with power recliner and the price was $999 and he told us that the sofa comes with the power recliner. We liked the sofa ,bought it and trusted the person , missed to check the receipt. They shipped us the sofa which does not have the recliner. When we called them they told Mistake by the warehouse, called back again and told us you should check the receipt. Why the hell your representative told us it will have power recliner. If there is anything mismatch between what you are showing to customer and what you are selling you should make clear. NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

We purchased a couch and love seat about 5-6 years ago. The looked and felt very comfortable. Within one week, I leaned over the edge to grab the remote off of the floor, and heard a loud "CRUNCH!" as the arm collapsed! They exchanged it quickly, and the EXACT same thing happened. We finally decided to try a different type of couch. It was OK for a few years, and then the springs started popping through the padding which made it very uncomfortable. Bottom line is, the exterior of the couches we had we excellent. Underneath however was complete garbage craftsmanship. I will NEVER buy a thing from them again. A couch should last at LEAST a decade if not more. Not just a few years.

Excellent service! I was looking for a couple of lamps for our living room. Two employees offer their help, and they took their time to look all over the place until they found something that my wife liked. We ended up buying 3 pieces. Checking out and paying was also great. Friendly and professional employee. I highly recommend this store. Guillermo Hoyos
