I had awful experiences with this store. The same ordered parts came back defective about 4 times. The store and repair technician would never check the parts before leaving the store. The repair man (who could only come out on Fridays at 8am, kept opening up the part in my home. He would tell me the part was defective again, would call the store, reorder the part and come back out to my home. This occurred 4 times. Its was difficult for me, as I would have to start my day later because the technician can only come out to my home on Friday mornings. I kept my mouth closed because I just wanted the part fixed ASAP. It takes 1 month for the same part to be reordered and arrive each of the 4 times it came back defective. A few times, the store forgot to reorder the part, and admitted to it when I arrived to the store to ask if my part arrived. They would just tell me "we will call you when the part comes into the store." I was never notified when the parts arrived. The craziest thing is actual managers, promised to repair my arm cushions and couch cushions, due to my negative experiences with them. The manager told me the arm cushions were ordered and would be in about 4 weeks. I provided times and dates when I spoke to the employees as well. When I called a month later to check on the arm cushions for my recliner, they told me: they only promised a cushion, the arm cushions were never ordered, they werent picking up the costs, and didnt want anything to do with me. The manager made personal attacks against me, and even brought my career into it. I was surprised. This hit a nerve, especially since they messed up my order so many times, and I had been very calm and patient with these people for months. I decided to contact the corporation, and was almost immediately contacted by the regional manager, who was very respectful, understanding and immediately took care of the situation. I received my parts, but now the store tell me they are "unable to get ahold of the technician" to put on the part. Hes not responding to their emails, despite multiple attempts. Suddenly, I get a call from the corporation stating, they would like to set up an appointment for a technician to come out to my home. I called them back, and they see a lot of orders has been placed on my account for the same parts, so they happily help me out. I dont always agree with a business, but I am still respectful towards others. I never had a manager personally attack me like this store did. They clearly dropped the ball. The technician tells you he will make sure the part is ordered to and he is just as bad as they are. The claim they called the technician to verify whether or not they were supposed to order a part. This is laughable. You think a technician is going to take a customer side, not a chance. He wants to keep his job. I normally dont write reviews, but if I can save anyone from wasted time and undue stress, then I figure its well worth writing a review. Go elsewhere. Its cheaper furniture, but not worth the stress when theres any repair work needing to be done.

I currently own an Ashley living room set, which I purchased in 2008. I absolutely love it and the price was fantastic, however, customer service was awful – the Salesmen were not friendly. It took forever to get assistance. The Salesperson that finally helped was extremely rude and pushy as he endlessly tried to sell Protector Insurance for my furniture for accidental damages – after this incident… I vowed to never go back to Ashley Furniture again. Well today… October 18, 2014 I went back to Ashley to buy another affordable and attractive living room set, hoping the service would be better. I was terribly disappointed again, because my daughter and I walked around in the store for 25 minutes and not one single salesperson would approach us to see if we needed assistance – one word to describe Ashley’s customer service APPALLING. During my 25 minutes wondering around in the store, I observed a salesmen rushing to a non African- American couple as they entered the store, and watched two other salesmen yakking as they looked at the door hoping for more prominent non African - American couples. I must admit, I was totally disturbed by their lack of customer service as they openly profiled the customers. After I saw that no one would help me, I approached the checkout counter to ask a young lady to help me, and expressed to her that no would had approached me to see if I needed help. Then a mere miracle happened … a salesman appeared. At this moment, I was so insulted by their horrible customer service that I purchased a “Lady Bug” rug for my daughter’s room, and then quickly left the store to buy elsewhere. I know that I’m not the only one that has been treated unjustly by Ashley’s Sales Representative. My sister has experienced the same ill treatment and unfair service. If you have been treated poorly, please post your feedback and concerns – then rate them truly according to “your” experience. I would never recommend this store to anyone.

My wife and I just moved to WI and bought a house. We were in desperate need of furniture as we sold everything before moving up. We had a blank canvas, so to speak, with a lot of options. However, we did not have a lot of money. We frequented the store on 27th a few times to look around and found that there were a myriad of people being helped, and shortly after arriving, we were helped too. I explained to our first sales representative of our situation and she was very understanding and helpful, as well as let us in on an upcoming sale that was not to be discussed or advertised yet. She didnt care about getting the credit herself, but wanted to make sure that we got the best deal. The next time that we visited the store, we were approached by a salesman who was an absolute loser and purely useless. He had the nerve to laugh at me for asking about a king size mattress under 1000 dollars. So instead of getting mad I simply said "well I know who wont be making any sales today", laughed back at him and walked away. The last time that we visited, we were met by one of the nicest salesman ever, who helped us to get the furniture that we wanted at a great price, and even threw in a few discounts that we didnt ask for. So in short, your experience really depends upon the salesperson. If you dont like someone, walk away from them and get someone else. Its your money, so you make the rules!

Good showroom experience Anthony did a good job, not pushy. The reason Im not giving a higher rating is because of their poor communication. I purchased a sectional that came with two pillows. The sectional showed up just fine. But, they werent sure when I would see the pillows, which they were up front about. However, two weeks now after the sectional has arrived, and I cant get a solid answer from anyone. This is an independently owned Ashley Furniture, and therefore the corporate office put forth zero effort to get me an answer, and instead pawned be back off to the individual store. I called the store to see if I could get some kind of a time estimation. The first woman I spoke with, literally just guessed. Didnt ask anyone, didnt pretend like they were doing research, just guessed... I called back a second time when my salesman Anthony was in. He transferred me to the department that handles that, per Anthony. The woman I spoke with told me the problem is that the manager was on vacation, and thusly reports werent being filed that needed to be to facilitate orders being delivered. She told me the manager was getting back in that day at 1:00, and she told me she was going to call me back at 1:30-2:00. I never got a call back, so I still dont have my pillows, or any idea as to when I will. So, good initial service, but once they have your money, they no longer care.
