When shopping for a any product you dont want to always read the reviews as they are usually tainted by someone having a bad day. Stop in to Midwest Action Cycle and discover for yourself the wonderful selection of cycles, scooters, and accessories, you wont be disappointed. I bought mine from Sherm and have no regrets. Unfortunately my scooter was stolen by the criminal misconduct of the Fox Lake, Illinois Police Department in Collusion with the Court system of McHenry, Illinois. A perfect example of law enforcement that deserves to be policed by the citizens themselves under the directive of vigilant justice and natural law. You will even find that the Department of Homeland Security has the hands in the cookie jar as well as officers get big heads when they are given a terrorist hunting sticker with fancy colors and words designed to intimidate the public. That being said document and challenge EVERYTHING that makes up our current system of justice. You will also find that the so called officials that you elected to office are virtually worthless in regards to "Defending Mankinds" rights. This is the NEW face of the one armed bandit, a clever fox of the den of sin. Midwest Action Cycle is no stranger to this notion as the "shop boys" in the garage are quick to disregard clear instructions and do whatever they can to line their pockets. I would to with such an enticing Gentlemans Club only a hop skip and honey-bun jump away. Everyone experiences vary and dont let my commentary dissuade you from a purchase made here. Scooters such as the Roughhouse which is an import are a steal in terms of their price and performance as these engines are from a culture of precision. Ill certainly buy another one or three for the same price as the Harley epiphany when Sherm points Me to a clover with 4 boobs and a G-string.

Was looking for a specific starter bike, a Suzuki GW250, for my youngest sons birthday. Midwest Action Cycle had it in stock at a discounted price. I had heard good things about them from a buddy of mine - only problem was, we live 2 hours away from Lake Geneva, and Im in the hospital with leukemia and cant talk or travel right now. I contacted the sales manager, Sherm Lindsey, over the internet, and we were able to work out all the details of purchasing the bike over email, including having the bike delivered to my hometown. I never even saw the bike or the dealership but Sherm was pleasant, professional, and very prompt in getting back to me each time I had a question. We needed the bike by today for my sons birthday, and Sherm assured me that it would be delivered on time. My sons mother was able to stop by Midwest Action Cycle mid-week to take care of paperwork and payment, and she said everyone there was friendly and helpful. The bike was delivered the next day already, by Sherms brother. My son loves his new bike and has been out riding it all day already. I had promised him his first motorcycle for his birthday but wasnt sure how to go looking for one, in my current condition. The whole process, from first email to delivery of the bike, took less than a week. Thank you, Midwest Action Cycle, from my family to yours, for making it easy to do business with you solely over email and have it all work out so well! When my son is ready to upgrade to a bigger bike, I know whom to contact!

Excellent ma n pa motorcycle shop. The perimeter of the store is vintage bikes on display (not for sale) Mostly Japanese. I love these. They are more scooter-centric these days, as thats what seems to sell in this area. Lake Geneva is a GREAT scooter down, and is doable even on 50cc. Just avoid the huge Holy Hill and youll be fine. Speaking of which, you can rent a scooter from them for the day too. They carry Vespa/Piaggio, Genuine and also used. They usually have a nice selection. For motorcycles, they seem to carry Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha, though you should check before you go if youre looking for something specific. The owners are friendly and helpful. They also have riding gear, including boots, helmets, jackets, gloves and a great service department, though they are often backed up in the summertime. Well worth a stop in. Add to that the fact that the owners host a lot of scooter rides in the Scoot Jockeys Lake Geneva Meetup group and it is really a shop that has it all. Cant wait for the upcoming Viva Lake Geneva scooter rally!

Today I made my third vehicle purchase with Midwest Action Cycle. With every purchase Ive made through them, Ive ridden away happy and without feeling like I was taken advantage of in the least. In the past, there were times when I bought motorcycles from a different dealer and just felt dirty. Completely unappreciated. Midwest Action Cycle singlehandedly changed the way I feel towards dealers. I truely felt like my salesman (Sherm) was on my side. I counted FOUR different ways that Sherm went above and beyond today to show his appreciation for my business. It didnt go unnoticed and I look forward to returning for whatever else I need in the future. Thank you M.A.C.! Ill proudly display my "Scoot Jockeys" decals on my Vespa, Roughouse and van!

Bought a new ruckus last year.Asked what I would possibly get next year if I trade it in. And if the mileage mattered. This guy named Sherm told me mileage doesnt matter. So I put it on consignment and he had it for about a month. He told me he would give me 1700 for it a month ago.So I go in there today an asked how the sale of of my bike was going. This Sherm guy tells me well its got high miles on it.So I can give you 1600 now. This guy is nothing but a big liar. Youve been warned stay away from the Shermanator. . HES DEFINTLY A LAIR AND I WONT SHOP THERE ANYMORE.MY DAUGHTER WAS THERE WITH ME WHEN WE BOUGHT IT AND HEARD EVERY WORD THAT WAS SAID SO DONT TRY AND TELL ME THIS GUY IS HONEST THATS BS . .

Far as the service usally fast and give you opitions or ideas. I havent had any bad feelings about them yet.

My girlfriend and I rented scooters today. Great Place. I used to live in the area and one of the guys that helped me get the right parts for my old motorcycle was still there. Great people, great training session for riding the scooter, nice route and scooter events too. I like these guys. If I were in the market for a motorcycle I would have to consider driving out there to give them my business.

Im sure if you purchase your scooter or cycle from them, their service and availability is great. However, when trying to find parts or service for already owned scooters, they were of no help. Have brought several generic scooter parts in to see if they could fix or replace and was sent away each time. On the upside, they rent scooters to tourists. ;)
