I recently purchased my first bike, and wanted to make sure I had the proper protective gear. On my first visit, I was greeted by a really friendly guy who was cranking some good Celtic music on the store radio. He was really helpful, and I could tell he really liked his job. He gave me a lot of great advice on gear, but I wasnt ready to buy that day, so I ended up returning. The guy who was working there when I returned was also awesome; again, very knowledgeable – and not pushy. I ended up buying a three season jacket , three season pants, and gloves from sedici, and a pair of riding shoes from bilt, as well as a holder for my cellphone. Overall a great shopping experience, with staff that really enjoy what they do and really enjoy riding – I recommend it!

I really like Cycle Gear. Helpful staff and if you have a problem with a product theyll go out of their way to help you. The biggest negative about the store is that its a lot of Bilt and Sedici products, which are actually their house brands. Im not buying Bilt again. Sedici is pretty good and even if they go to crap on you (which Bilt will quickly), they have really easy exchanges on them. I just wish they had more 3rd party products. Otherwise, its a really great store if you want to look at pretty much anything you need for your gear needs, especially if you dont want to wait for some online store to ship something or want to try on clothes before buying them.

Was skeptical of the BILT brand of gear, but it really seems to be decent quality for the money. They also have lots of AStars stuff. Bought a pair of AStars gloves that I thought would break in, they only made my hands numb. The staff were super helpful in exchanging them for a pair that work great. Would definitely recommend a visit to this store.

Went there yesterday as a first time rider looking for gear. They were 100% helpful and I felt comfortable enough there to ask the "dumb questions" being a newbie. Walked out with a much better understanding of what I was doing and some awesome gear at a good price. Id highly recommend to anyone. Thanks for the help Cycle Gear!
