Too bad you cant give 0 stars! I ordered online from this company on April 10. I sent a follow up email on April 23 to find out the status because I hadnt received it. I sent a follow up email on April 28 because they hadnt responded to the email on April 23. On April 29, they responded and said that it must have gotten lost in the mail and they would ship it out that day. May 9, I sent an email because I hadnt received it and asked for a tracking number. On May 12, they dont respond to my email, but I get an email from their eshipping department with a tracking number. The item was picked up on May 12 from their shop. The customer service is non-existent and they dont care. If you want your product, be aware that youll have to constantly ask them for updates and tracking numbers. Theyre useless. Go with another company.

I have made several purchases from J & L Self Defense Products, and am impressed with the quality of their products. They have lower prices than their competition so I assumed quality might be lower. To my surprise they are selling the same high-quality products of their higher-priced competition! Another thing that separates them from the competition is their availability to answer questions. You can pick up the phone or send email. Irv or his wife will answer or get back to you by end or day or first thing next morning. Irv has law enforcement experience so I trust his product line more than I would some reseller of cheap imported products. It is safe to purchase supplies from this company.

Really really pleased with this companys products and service. The Tactical 9,200,000 Stun Flashlight is a real value, mounts on my bike, and absolutely provides non lethal protection. The product comes with a lifetime warranty which the manufacturer stands behind. Over and above that I am super grateful to J and L professional Shelia Hoover for her recent over and above the call of duty efforts in assisting me. Keep up the wonderful work!!!

Purchased several items on November 9, online, was charged and received an invoice. I followed up three times using their website, received no response. Finally called them today and got in touch with someone on the phone, and they said that they just never filled the order, and my card info was no longer in their system for some reason, but if I gave them my credit card info over the phone, they would place the order. Ridiculous and sketchy.

Purchased something for self-defense before realizing to look to see if its even legal in my state to use it. Totally my fault for not checking first, but after contacting them (within 15 minutes of placing my order) asking to cancel my order, they completely ignored my request and told me it would be fine, and sent me an email with a tracking number.

Called to inquire about a Ka Bar TDI Law enforcement knife Im looking for locally and the lady who answered the phone said "I have never heard of ka bar". How can a "self defense" company that has supposedly been in the business for years not know the name? Leaves me skeptical to give them any credibility towards quality and knowledge.
