Miss that used car dealership experience? Come to Stewart subaru and be reminded of the old days. I had initially planned on going to the Subaru of Tacoma, and actually still do. I encountered a very unfortunate set back with mother nature and Snoqualmie pass closed while I was driving into Ellensburg. Driving back to Yakima I decided to stop by Stewart Subaru and see what they had to offer. I met with James and let him know what I was looking for and what my budget was. I showed him the car I was looking at online at the Subaru of Tacoma, and they tried to get close to their pricing but ultimately we didnt come to an agreement: at that point it had been a fairly decent experience. James went and retrieved some paper work(their offer), and went to make a copy of my license. When I rejected their offer, and James came back from meeting with the sales manager stating that the Subaru they had in Stock demands a higher resale price because of the color: perfectly reasonable explanation. I took a second, looked at my budget; and decided it wasnt going to fit in my budget. At that point I asked if there was anymore wiggle room in price. He left again and when he came back presented the same offer. I told him that I just couldnt take their offer because it was just outside my budget. James quickly gets up and says have a nice day and storms off. At that point I was left at an empty desk and I see James outside: still processing the abrupt end to our conversation I make my way to the door. I made it outside and someone comes running up behind me. It was another Subaru staff member telling me I had forgotten my license at the copier. I thanked him, but couldnt help get a bit frustrated because it wasnt me that had forgotten to get my license at the copier, but James who had taken it initially and never gave it back, before he stormed off. As I was putting my license back in my wallet another salesman asked how my experience had gone. I mentioned it wasnt the greatest experience because James forgot to give me back my license. The new salesman immediately got defensive, and said whoa dont take it out on me! I apologized to him reflexively, but as Im sitting here, Im wondering why I apologized at all? Had I raised my voice at all or been angry I could see a reaction like that, but to immediately get defensive as I merely tried to explain to him why I didnt have the best experience left me with a really bad taste in my mouth. I will not be visiting Stewart Subaru again. I think your experience might very as long as you agree to their terms, because if you dont...the customer experience drops dramatically.

I know and I have heard of horrible stories and experiences with local car dealerships. I have had a couple myself. I usually give them at least one chance. For this reason I will NOT buy a car from a certain dealership(s) owned by Hall. They mistreated my family who bought 3 cars at the same time and tried to undervalue my truck/trade. That said, I was NOT expecting the service we got when we came looking for a vehicle at Stewart Subaru last August 2014. I remember it was blazing hot that day! They made us feel welcome, did not pressure us to buy anything, and showed us research on the vehicles we were interested in. We left the lot that day, but returned in a couple of days ready to make a deal. They accepted our offer and gave us a great deal on our Toyota Sienna. We left with a great Outback and our payments were in the ballpark of where we wanted to be. We love our vehicle and we appreciate the service from Stewart. They have earned our trust and our business. We would gladly recommend them to our friends and others based on the experience we had. Cassandra was the amazing, and professional salesperson who found the right vehicle for us, which turned out to be a better value and quality, than what we would have settled for! Thank you Cassie, and thank you Stewart Subaru. James and Tiffany Allen

Completely unprofessional sales staff. I tried to deal for a specific car that I liked but it was much higher than what it shouldve been. They wouldnt deal with me and lied about the value of the car. I went home and did further research and found that I could buy a brand new version of the same car for $7500 less than the one they were selling. I called and spoke with the sales manager saying that I would like to keep my money local but I would like to get a fair price as I can get a brand new one from the Portland area for much less. They told me to go ahead and go to Portland. I obliged but continued to be heckled when I brought my car in for service. It got so bad that my friend turned them into Subaru corporate as he saw how they were treating me. The heckling finally stopped after that thank goodness. The one good part is their service department as they were always honest and polite with me. I would NEVER buy from them.

My wife and I just purchased an absolutely rugged yet elegant 2017 Subaru Outback 3.6r Touring and what an awesome vehicle!!! We are just so happy with this purchase. Thanks to the great staff at Stewarts, our salesman, Darrel & Joe, manager, Becky and hilarious financier Darrin. Great job to all of these guys. They really listened to our needs and took care of everything for us. I was afraid wed need to take our business out of town but theyve made customers out of us. Not only did they make everything so easy we were in-and-out with our new vehicle under an hour! Unheard of! The sales people made the right amount of contact with us and seemed to really care without the high pressure tactics. Couldnt be happy enough with the transaction! Thanks to Stewart Subaru.

Dont buy from these guys. The car buying experience here was terrible - there was the typical salesman pressure and back and forth with the manager during the haggling process. After spending forever negotiating on the price they rush you through the signing process and will sneak in "document service fees." They also sell you expensive extended warranties and conveniently forget to ever mention or even write down the deductible that you will pay every single time you go to fix something. Within months of buying the car (only 40k miles), weve had to go in to fix the multi-function display, speakers, key fob, and had the check engine light come on repeatedly. Theyve been terrible throughout the process. Beware.

Best dealership Ive ever visited! This weekend was the second time Ive had nothing short of a wonderful experience at Stewart Subaru. Theyve helped me into my second brand new Forester now, and made the whole experience easy, painless, and pleasurable. Whenever I had problems, they were prompt to respond, and the service department was quick and thorough with every job. Thank you to Mark Prater, Matt in the Hat, and all the other amazing team members at Stewart Subaru! I HIGHLY recommend this dealership. Not only are they amazing people, they do incredible things for their community as well, and really care about the people they help, and the value of their name. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!! :)
