My 1st experience as a Costco customer has been truly unbelievable. We have recently moved here and live relatively near Costco Bothell so we decided to get a Costco membership in place of a SAMs club one we have had for many years, with grown up children I was trying to shop Christmas gifts for we decided on some movie ticket deals Costco had with time running out trying to shop between my job schedule and my husbands I finally said give me the card and I will go and buy them after work today, I got the package - waited in line for a few minutes and when I get to pay I slide my debit card and say I want to pay as credit and am told I cant without a PIN number so I say sorry dont have one as I never draw cash but will pay with my credit card only to be told I cant do that either unless I have a PIN number for the credit card -really I have never had this issue anywhere else but the cashier says you can pay with a check ok so I dont have that with me I leave very frustrated and make a special trip back the next day, same issue, wait in the line finally get to pay my $39/$40 bill only to be told no we cant take hour check when the membership card is in your husbands name !!!!!! So NO debt card No credit card no check payment acceptable even the manager would not help me at all, needless to say I now happily back with SAMs club NEVER to go to Costco ever again

I dont write a review.. like ever.. Here is my story. I was hunting a particular sectional sofa. I went to Issaquah location to purchase the sofa. As we know, Costco doesnt do delivery except for their online items. The sofa was sold out by the time I arrange uhaul to pick it. The lady told me Federal Way showed 8 in the inventory. The next day I called Federal Way at 11am; 6 sofa left in the inventory. I asked them to hold one for me, they said no. I couldnt make the purchase from the phone either. I have to be physically there. I arranged to pick up a Uhaul at Federal Way and drove there. I arrived at Federal Way Costco at 2 pm, and the sofa was sold out. I called this Woodinville costco, told them my story, and their super star employee, Lori, offered to hold one for me without me asking. Lori understands the situation and the obstacles her customers deal with due to her company policies, but is willing to compromise. Lori is the kind of employees that makes a company shines. The story didnt end there.. I went hold home with 6 boxes of sofa, and found out one of the box is duplicated. I called this Costco and explained the situation. Within few minutes Lori called back and provided a delivery to switch the boxes within the hour. Excellent customer service! Thanks, Lori!

Been shopping at Woodinville Costco for about a decade, but it is becoming obvious that the staff they hire to dispense sample food needs to be trained to be polite, especially to kids. Yesterday, my kid was at the sample desk near the freezer section where they were handing out wontons or something like that. My son is 5. He accidentally dropped the sample on the floor. The lady dispensing the sample was very rude towards him which made him come to me in panic. When I confronted the lady, she was belligerent, and started to talk to my son in front of me and rudely at that. When I asked her to stop talking to my 5-year old, she did not. My advice to Costco Woodinville management would be to have them train their staff to not engage in conversations with little kids especially when the parent is asking you not to. Also, if the staff does not have anything nice to say to kids, then do not say anything. Dont be rude. If the staff needs to learn that they need to speak with the parents of small kids about the kids rather than directly. Please make this Costco Woodinville a place where kids would love to visit, instead of making it a place where kids are treated rudely.

This is my least favorite Costco location. Its the closest to My home but I usually travel an extra 10-15 minutes of out my way to go to the Lynwood location instead. I have no issue with the products its just this location. First of all parking is horrendous and the flow of traffic in and out of the location doesnt work well. Its stresses me out when Im walking into the store with my kids and I have to walk down a main drive way with decent traffic to get to the entrance. Second, the cafe is small and cramped and the cafe staff has been rude and ornery EVERY time Ive gone yelling loudly at people to move to a different line and yelling asking what they want etc. Lastly, the staff has not been friendly or helpful or even kind at all. The check out people dont even acknowledge Im there and just chat with the person putting stuff in the cart. I try to avoid this Costco and only stop to get gas if I must.

Pre-ordered the Samsung Note 8. I received a call the Wednesday before (September 6th) the release date (September 15th) notifying me that the phone was ready for pick-up. I told them that it wasnt to be released for another 9 days. They assured me that they were told to release the phones for activation. I went to Costco the following day to pick up my new phone. Got there and the phone guy informed me that they were told not to activate any Note 8s until the release date of September 15th. Even though they activated phones they had activated phones the previous day, they were refusing to give me and activate my phone. I received no calls or notifications to not come down to activate my new phone. They were apologetic, but said there was nothing they could do for me. The round trip from my house to Costco is over an hour and the whole exerience was disheartening and extremely inconvenient. Ray

Without thinking, I loaned my COSTCO card to my daughter to buy food for her dog.. When she got to the checkout counter,, the female cashier in a loud voice said it wasnt there card.. She YELLED OUT "floater !! floater !! " for all to hear.. Then she called for security and the manager.. She was treated as if she stole the dog-food.. My daughter was so embarrassed. The person next in line behind my daughter offered to let her be under her card.. By this time,, my daughter just walked out.. Im astonished and outraged .. It was a simple mistake.. No harm done !! Why couldnt they just tell her she couldnt use her fathers card without me present and leave it at that ?? What crime was committed here ? Ill be speaking to the manager on Tuesday !!

Costco 767 is as good as they come. The local Architect designs all Costcos. The reverse layout of many Stores will confuse the avid shopper. But you soon adapt. The newly expanded gas station is larger than most, serving diesel is a bonus. The only frustration that I have with any Costco is the changing of some key products occasionally..contracts changing or what ever strikes the executive team can be devastating to a Costco purest. When I like a certain whole grain bread, or cracker. Or a chip, then Costco decides to no longer carry it or they will randomly return the item 6 months later will drive you nuts. Like most Costcos the lot fills quickly and you will find yourself driving in circles or parking behind the building with staff.
