Visited this store for the 1st time today with my mother, everything was okay up until I noticed that my mother and I were being watched as if we were shoplifting, but there were other shoppers there but somehow I felt like we were the only ones she was watching smh then when my mother went to pay for her things the lady there was rude and accused her of ripping off tags on the items she was about to purchase so she tried to charge her other than the actual price..until the cashier found that the tags were still on the items, at this point I didnt want to buy anything anymore so I awaited my mother and her purchase to be done..as we went outside to get in our car I noticed she was standing from indoors facing her phone outside as if she was taking a picture..so I walked up to her and asked if she was taking photos of our license plate and she said no so I said okay and walked out to leave..she then comes and out and says "And if I did, would you have a problem with that?" Then she starts saying that since were "islanders" we should have some respect for her store and I asked her what were we doing wrong? And she yelled back saying were being disrespectful, that my mother was throwing things on the floor, and that she just buried 2 people in her family so she doesnt have time to deal with people like us and that we shouldnt come back to her store anymore and she walks back in the store..so my mother just said well this was our first time there and we didnt do anything wrong so we left..she was just really rude and arrogant. NEVER have I ever been to a thrift store and was treated like that, and its its owned and operated by the Clark County Christian Center too! All the other workers there were nice and polite, except her cause I guess she owns the store and she can treat anyone how she wants. Bad Customer Service!

If I think something sucks Im going to say so. But, I give credit where credit is due, as well. I dont follow the status quo simply because every one else does. Ive seen some rough and unreasonable criticisms posted on Google about this business. I consider many of these reviews unwarranted and erroneous at best. My wife and I came across this store a few months ago. Weve been there three times and purchased something each time weve patronized this store. We seldom give a perfect rating. But, in this case, well give one simply because this particular thrift store is not only a thrift, but a Godly ministry which does things a bit differently than others in my experience. So, when I got in there with my family I not only have a pleasant and fruitful shopping experience I have the opportunity to fellowship with Eric and his wife, time permitting. Given what they, are a few items may be over priced. But better pricing practices will come in time as the business grows. Its to be expected in this type of business. And, ya have to start somewhere. I highly suspect, however, that if I want something badly enough to approach the management team Ill approach them and make an offer. Theyre reasonable enough to know whether Im making a reasonable offer. If we come to terms, Ill walk out the door with that item. In todays world, too many people want something for nothing. I typically know a good deal when I see it, and if Im unsure Ill research it. I wont complain. Ill do something about it.

I just went here n the owners own husband got way too close for comfort for my taste. One of the employees walkn up to us n proceeds to try n educate us on the SERVICE DOG LAWS. I TRIED TO AGREE WITH HIM N B POLITE A but it didnt go too well. My husband also tried to tell him that we had permission from the owners wife that I could bring my service dog. He took affense to how my husband handled it n went n got the husband of the owner. The husband of the owner proceeds to try to tell me that PTSD isnt a disability. I tried to tell him that actually under the FEDERAL ADA SERVICE DOG LAWS THE FEDERAL ADA RECOGNIZES THAT ANY INDIVIDUALS WHO SUFFER FROM PTSD N HAS A SERVICE DOG TO HELP THEM WITH THAT R ALLOWED TO BRING THEM WITH YOU. But this business like many others are refusing to recognize that PTSD IS N FACT A DISABILITY. I fight with people on a daily basis n regards to this issue. I will never go back to THIS PLACE unless they can treat people like us with better respect.

I went to this thrift store at their first location I thought it was great they had a $1 rack, and great prices I got some amazing things but it was also before they were moving. I visited their new location thinking they probably still have great prices. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Very overpriced they offer no daily deals. The worse part about this store is the staff and their ear peices, I understand you dont want to get stolen from but it is a thrift store you arent a Dillards. You can hear them talking about the customers, and keeping close eyes on everyone. I watched one of the staff members approach a lady about her purse and asked her if she had something in her bag she said no its my bag I had this before I came in, I felt embarrassed for that lady. I will never come here again!!

This N That is a wonderful thrift experience.....a lot to choose from. But the real blessing of This N That is what they provide for the community. Unlike some other thrift stores, like Goodwill, where their profits go straight into their corporate pocket, This N That is a true non-profit. Their focus is to serve the community by directly supporting families in need through agency referral, providing jobs and on-the-job training experiences for folks who might otherwise not be able to get this valuable training. This is where our money goes when we patronize This N That. It is good to know that we can find a bargain .... and play a part in this valuable community support !

Not sure why all the negative comments about this place? I found it to be clean with a nice selection of items. Prices were typical, nice big store with a good lay out but the thing that stood out the most to me is the nice young man that help me put a large piece of furniture in my car. You just dont see that kind of customer service any more. Thumbs up to this store.

What an awful expensive place. The staff is rude and the asian lady was slamming drumsticks on the crappy damaged furniture and try to sell it for way more than what its worth. Also, apparently Kids are also not allowed. Saw them kick some kids out that were sitting on their phones while their mother looked through the aisle ways. Pathetic place

I went in there today and I felt very uneasy about shopping there. The products were unclean, the store smelled of mold and dust, the people that work there were casually following me around like I was going to steal something, I had those same people glare at me for being there. The atmosphere isnt friendly nor clean.
