Be aware of an absolute BEAST that is working in customer service. I called to schedule a day to have furniture picked up for donation, and I got the rudest customer service lady you could ever imagine. This person didnt even greet me with a nice and lucid "Hello, how may I help you today?" I just got this response, "ST. VINCENT DE PAUL, ST. VINCENT DE PAUL". She didnt even hear what I said. I had attempted to repeat my question once more, and the lady had not answered my question properly and decided to talk over me and interrupt. This lady was being quite rude with me on the phone, and she was most certainly yelling at me like she was angry. Instead of nicely asking me what I have to donate she gave me THIS response, "LIKE WHAT! LIKE WHAT! LIKE WHAT!". Someone needs to teach her how to have proper customer service ettiquette because with someone like her, I would never have business with. I hung up the phone and called Value Village intsead, and what do you know, the nicest lady had answered. This lady was much more polite and helpful. I wasnt yelled at, and I most certainly had my question answered.

I am new to the area and prefer to shop local, so I decided to stop in to look for Halloween supplies. I walk in the door at 6:41. The older lady behind the counter looks at me and gets on the loudspeaker: " *sigh loudly and obviously* everyone needs to grab their purchases and come up to the counter NOW. We are closing." The lady gets off loudspeaker and says to her co-worker (sounding very put-out) "Im fu**ing locking the doors at 7" Now, if they closed at 6 or 6:30, Id understand her frustrations. But this is not the kind of behavior you would expect. I was very taken aback, especially because I normally love these stores. I dont know if she was just having a bad day, if she was then Im sorry, but that is no way to behave. For anyone.

Svpd makes a big deal of being a charity but apparently not for purchasers. Bought boots that leak, paperback dictionary new price $1 but they wanted $2 their hardcover book price saying "paperbacks" mean escape fiction. The boots leaked. Manager said "as is" but conceded she would give a refund within the 7 days. But I wanted what I was sold, non-leaking boots and asked to deduct for repair kit instead, but no deal. Assume they would not resell, they were willing to lose the whole sale, instead of half the price so they could take advantage of me because I go less than what I was sold.

I have worked for St Vincent de Paul and Goodwill Thrift in the past and I know how hard it is to get saleable product from all the "donations" which get dropped off. Nothing on the sales floor in any thrift store is "free". There is a huge expense in warehousing, recycling, sorting, cleaning, testing, pricing and hauling and disposing of trash for every item on the floor. Please remember this is a charity that provides many, many types of assistance to all-comers. Be kind, some of this junk is pretty collectible and useful.

I have had maybe one good experience here. I tried to drop of a perfectly good entertainment center with no damage and they said, "Yeah, these dont sell so we cant take it" This has happened to me more times than I can remember, but the reason they dont sell is because some of their prices for used stuff are too high. Go to the Goodwill off of 145th in Shoreline. They take anything in good shape & have great prices. Do not go here because they dont have much & dont take anything!!

I have been to this thrift store so many times and have bought so little here. Its fine if you just need some dishes or knick knacks, but I have found very few items of any quality here. I tend to shop at thrift stores for electronics, tools, and clothes. Inventory is far better at the Shoreline Goodwill or Woodinville Value Village. Theres also just something a bit depressing about this place. Cant put my finger on it, but youll feel it right when you step inside.

So expensive on anything that isnt broken. This is a social justice issues donations should not be treated as collectibles. Prices are supposed to be low. Donations are meant to help poor people get ahead. Not for the eBay account they sell all te high value stuff thru St Vincent de Paul Is a huge offender of exploiting the poor. Workers are forced to work at sub fair wages, often work for less than a 1 dollar an hour -as part of welfare contracts for assistance.

This is the largest St Vincent in the county & it just keeps getting better. Very clean & welll laid out. Ive found some really great bargains there over the 9 years Ive been shopping here. They have at least 1 50% off day a every month..some months theyll have even or more sales. Everything in the store is priced with a colored tag & one of the colors is 50% off at different days of the week and / or different weeks of the month.

I always donate and purchase from St. Vincents. Unlike Value Village and other stores of that kind, the majority of the money is given to the poor. Value Village may have more selection, but their profits go to the CEO and the company. St. Vincents does more for the poor than any other store of its kind. :) Donate now! Peace!

Had a bad experience here, unfortunately. I love thrift stores, but theres nothing like flatly-spoken single-world answers to kinda turn you off. "Do you guys sell yard tools?" "No." "Isnt that a shovel over there?" "Yeah..." "But its not for sale?" "...I guess not." Dont recommend.

This is one of the better thrift stores! They are always helpful and have lots of good sales! Every day of the week at least one color tag is 50% off... and twice monthly store wide sales are totally rad. I actually travel a bit to visit this store!

You have to pick and choose to get the really good items. A lot of things are priced a little high, but if you just want a new paperback, or a shelf for your room a great place. Just be careful you arent paying retail for a used item.

Sometimes dusty, but prices are fantastic. I got a nightgown worth over $200 for $2.50 here, and some almost brand-new shoes! I also get most of my wardrobe from here, and their 50% off everything sales are just wonderful!

Prices are always excessively inflated for a large majority of items. The drop off location is a worrisome stretch to navigate with a vehicle, as Im always concerned Ill run over some debris and blow a tire.

THEY DONT ACCEPT MATTRESS DONATIONS! Despite their website saying so, they dont as of Nov. 2015. I had to pay $22 to put it in a landfill instead of give it to someone in need...
