Walking into Legendary games was like walking into another world. A very happy a friendly world just for gamers. The man at the counter one of the owners was one of the nicest most knowledgeable associates I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. I brought in several old school consoles to sell to him I wasnt expecting much and no he didnt take everything I had but he explains his reasoning rather then just saying no. He offered me either in store credit or cash. Not knowing I would stay yet I took the cash. Then I got a chance to look around. I cant describe the multitude of games I saw. I could try but I would fail. They were also very fairly priced. Once he saw that I had a few games I wished to purchase he felt bad for not offering me the store credit and happily made me a deal to get the games for the cash he had given me. My husband was looking at the PC games hopeful they had something he would be interested in playing. While they did not have his usual type the associate offered my husband a deal try this new one hed sell it to us for 5 it was a deal and my husband is very eager to play it! I have only one complaint...The store needs to be bigger! Thank you so much Legendary! You have two new lifetime fans!!!! You Rock!!!

I would readily go back again and again. True I didnt find all that I wanted, but thats because most games I look for are imports (like Koeis warriors series). If you ask for something then they will search for it themselves to see if they have it. The people are nice and impressed me greatly. It was a slow day and I was the only person browsing. A friend of the owners stopped by and they got into a fifteen minute or longer conversation about the best way to take down WoW raids. Almost everything I have purchased from Legendary Games has worked. The only things that didnt were a single game and a memory card for my PS2. I went back and they replaced both. Im a picky gamer. I spent twenty minutes browsing one day and the clerk asked if I needed help with something. I told him what I was searching for and not thirty seconds later he found three games that I was looking for and am still enjoying. My only complaints are the organization of the store (the far games shelf is my bane), the size of it (they need a bigger location), and the clearance boxes. If they were to reorganize the store a bit then I would give them a 5, but for now they are a 4.

I have been shopping for my Xbox 360 games here since they have opened, however I had yet to write a review so here it goes... Professional Business Etiquette 9 out of 10 Every one I have seen work here has been friendly mannered and very polite. Quality of Merchandise 7 out of 10 Though they have newer games, the quality of there disc cases, items that come with the games, and their games themselves leave to be desired for. Some have scratches or even cracks around the lock ring of the disc leading to lagging gameplay, or even damage. Choice of stock 10 out of 10 For as many of games as there are out there the have the best chance to have them in stock. Every game I have looked to purchase from them I have found, and those that say otherwise have not been in their store. Over-all, out of every store dedicated to the video gaming passion, I have seen only one better, and unless you wish to travel to The Bronx in New York, this is your best bet. I give it a 9 out of 10.

I bought a Borderlands Game of the Year Edition and a Resident Evil 6 here. I got them home and opened it to find that the two disc set only had one disc in the case, and instead of the Game of the Year disc, it was only the Platinum Hits. I called to ask if they maybe just got traded in the wrong disc and simply didnt have it and was told there was no difference between the disc I got and the Game of the Year, and said there was no need to change it. I Googled it and found out that there is a second disc for the extra content. I feel lied to. Some of the cases do come with the codes that they described, some are 2 disc sets. Mine was obviously a two disc set. they also have a refinishing machine right next to their register, and my Resident Evil 6 was in disrepair. How hard would it be to just put the disc through the cleaning to give me a nice disc? yes, theyre cheaper than other stores, however, there is a reason they are: they lack the quality.

Said yep I will take your GameCube for $10, so I go get it out of storage, hes like nope I will not take your GameCube for any price. Will not take it without official Nintendo brand power cords. Wow... You guys tested one of these GameCubes for me in the past now you waste my gas and treat me like a baboon. Of course Im not selling it with the $8 power cord for $10. That would be $16 bare minimum liquidated price with an off-brand DC cord. With Nintendos Cord Id probably charge an extra buck or two. There may be a lot of unwanted GameCubes out there but that number is going down. While they have stuff in stock by no means are they a GameStop and thats a major insult because everyone hates GameStop. You can find an item here but they check ebays prices sometimes, ect. run of the mill worst treatment when it comes to customers. Some of the guys that work here have been good to me but not all of em.

The best local video game store in town. This sentence could easily sum up legendary games, but there is so much more to this store than just those few words. This store is run by game lovers for game lovers. The prices are more than fair compared to many places most would consider game graveyards (Example: **Gameplay** Where games are so overpriced that they are left their to die). The staff is friendly and very interested in making sure that people leave with a good game to play and a positive experience. They have good trade in value, especially for magic cards. The local brick and mortar is slowly disappearing, but Legendary Games survives as it is more interested in keeping its customer base happy and coming through the Legendary doors on a regular basis. I applaud all who put in the effort to make Legendary games what it is; the best place in town to buy video games.

Honestly, it was alright. Games systems are reasonably priced, however if youre trading them in chances are you wont get as much as you would from another store. HOWEVER, if youre trying to find a game the system in which they file it was HORRIBLE. I gave up at trying to find a game I wanted to check out. Ill admit seeing the action figures and life size characters of movies is really awesome, this place would be good for atmosphere, but in all reality this place is for younger teenagers with lots of kill time. specially if youre looking for a certain game. The gentleman working the counter was really knowledgeable and friendly, which is nice. Overall its really not that bad of a place, just expect to spend extra time diggin for certain game, oh and dont forget to check the boxes on the floor.
