I am unfortunately a box holder at this store. Last year I made the unfortunate decision to "move" to a smaller box, and this has caused a series of problems. Rejected mail, mis-directed mail, and lost opportunities ensued as the staff alternately rejected my incoming mail as "non-deliverable" (sending back money which clients had paid me), and placing new mail into the old box for which I no longer had a key, resulting in lost opportunities and in one case, a check for $700 sitting in there for three weeks. Its happened three times in the past few months, and the so-called manager just blames her staff without accepting responsibility for training them properly. On top of this, the owner, though nice enough, hardly speaks English, so trying to explain your problems is a lot like smashing yourself into a concrete wall. Lots of effort with no progress. It is amazing to me also that they stay in business. It must be the location alone that keeps them afloat, ( a location which suffers from awful parking problems, too). I am sorry we have to give this even one star because -1 would be generous. UPDATE 5-2011 They have, fortunately, fired the manager who liked to blame everyone else for her incompetence. The staff for the past half-year or so has been much better. Unfortunately the owner is not a native English speaker, and I think this takes its toll on the staff. They are frequently understaffed and overworked. The delivery problem has been corrected.

Terrible experience. I rented a box here, but packages were returned because the staff insisted that I did not actually have a box rented. They then refused a full refund because that is not allowed by the terms of the rental contract. For the box I rented. That they told USPS I did not have. Ug. Steer clear of this place, go USPS or the UPS Store in Lakewood.

My mailbox at home is constantly broken into so I decided to rent from here. I personally havent experienced poor customer service and the mailbox is pretty cheap. I always receive a text to let me know my packages have arrived. I love that!

Lakewood store sucks, they should fire everyone on it. Went there nicely to inquire about my package, all I got was a bad glare and was told to call this 1-800 number. If youre job sucks dont project it to your customers.

Overpriced, and not customer friendly. Now charging $1 to put tape on a box to be shipped UPS. Staff member said they had to charge because no one was buying their tape. I am taking my business else where.

This has consistently been a horrible place to try to give my money to. Very grumpy and not willing to help ship packages. Truly amazing they have stayed in business despite themselves!
