I dropped my laptop corner-first onto a hardwood floor. The damage looked mostly superficial, but I wanted to get it checked out and repaired (a comparable machine was stupidly expensive). Most everything was backed up, so a new computer wouldnt have been a total loss, but I had just finished configuring it to my needs. The manufacturer would have restored the hard drive to stock (and knocked me back to Windows 8.1 - ugh). Best Buys Geek Squad (with whom weve had no problems in the past) ran a cursory check online, told me they couldnt fix it, and tried to sell me a new one. RePC initially tried to sell me a new one, but once I made it clear that I wanted repair and not replacement, they did so. It wasnt fast, but it was thorough, and the laptop appears to be like new. And it was less expensive than either Best Buy or the manufacturer quoted online. And less than a third of the cost of replacing it.

I have shopped here for years. It is a staple for recycling old tech. It is also a staple for finding it (new too)! The prices are always reasonable: best possible on used goods as well as new sets of peripherals (combos for wireless keyboard and mouse, etc). Their inventory spans every type of card to add to your computer, printers, towers, cables, hard drives and my favorite, monitors (I recommend checking here first for these). A lot of surplus computers end up here that are great quality as well. I recommend asking to test a used product before buying it, they can and will for most things. In the last year or so Ive had to branch out and shop other places for high end gaming capable equipment, but for almost everything else come here first. Great people, large selection from ancient to new, worth the trip to assess it yourself!

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. First of all the hate part. The sales team on the floor, they are rude & condescending, & you can tell they only work on commission, & just want to make money off of you. We asked about one of the pcs they had for sale and were told that was priced wrong and it should cost more money, I have walked out on these guys 3 times. Now for the love part! I love the guys behind the rebuild counter. They are awesome and will help you build a bare bones system for really cheap, and will upgrade what you are buying for free for you. They do have a ton of used stuff for super cheap, keyboards and mice, fans, trays, ram, video cards, whatever you want. They have new stuff, and it is priced average. I did buy 2 bare bones gaming pc for $200.

From the begginning this was a great business idea. The owners seemed to be confident in success despite garnering a reputation for mediocre service and lack of customer service. However over the past few years that "old school teckie" way of guaging service quality has been changing. I now feel much more confident in my review of four stars. Somehow i think these folks will only continue to improve and not let me down on the recomendation. The Tukwila location employees are quite knowledgeable over a large variety of subjects. After spending some time there i think you will understand the sheer amount of basic knowledge needed to cover a store like that. Its a crackhouse for geeks.

If you like high-tech items and love a bargain? THIS IS YOUR STORE! The staff is friendly, helpful and KNOWLEDGEABLE in what they do: computers & printers. I had my laptop repaired at the downtown store. They originally thought the screen was bad, so they ordered it. When it came in, they realized it was just the cable to the screen. They only charged me for the cable! Most companies would have charged me for the screen they ordered, as it was for my repair. Nick in downtown and Janet in Tukwilla both rock! (Repair personnel) And Ill be buying a new system there in the next month or so.....I sold & repaired office equipment in Sacramento for 20 years....and I recommend this store.

I used to work here as a technician. Pretty good place to find random computer stuff from consumer junk to industrial-grade components. Every time you go they have something different. The service is hit-or-miss on the sales floor, but if you know what youre looking for its not a problem. They do computer and printer repairs at the most competitive rates in town, with a pretty fast turn-around compared to most shops. As a local fixture, this place has its share of scammers and losers trying to take advantage of them, so be patient with the limited supply of knowledgeable service-people and you will be glad you stopped in.

I got my laptop to their place because the frame was broken. I already googled how much the frame costs. The person (who was really nice) gave me an estimate and told me we will call you in a week to give you a final comment. I did not hear from them in ten days and when I went back it looked like he never saw me. Then after 15 minutes another person came to talk to me and the price he gave me was more than double of the initial estimate. Then he was trying to convince me to buy one of their used laptops instead of fixing my computer. In a nutshell, poor customer service.

This place used to be a great place to get replacement parts for legacy or hard to find eleectronics but recently the past few years the prices have skyrocketed and its hard to justify paying a lot of their asking prices for products that are as-is, untested, and for the 4th time in a row for me this year, dont end up working when i get them home. And now Im stuck with them, Id donate them back to REPC again but i dont want someone else to get screwed over like i did by paying money for broken trash.

As a kid my Dad loved going to auctions and yard sales...and I loved it too...and I grew up and started getting involved with IT and building basic computers I would look for old scrap ones to tinker with. Re-PC has everything you would want! It is the best tech and parts garage sale around. You can find everything from old Motorola flip phone chargers to the latest most powerful video cards amazing prices! If you like building computers need someone to build one for you, check out RE-PC first

This place is the worst. The customer service is the worst if you dont "look the part". I came in here more then once an whatever Im looking for they dont even look they just say nope we dont have it. Then I walk around for 30 min then Ill find it. I will never recommend this place to anyone every aging and I work for one of the biggest electronic company I used to tell people to come here and I will no longer do that

Great place, in addition to recycling your old computers and electrics, they also sell refurbished computers, servers, components, and a myriad of other technology related items. Highly recommend checking it out if like me you enjoy technology and finding a good deal for systems to experiment with, several of my home VM server machines are running on some form of hardware from this place.
