I am thoroughly disgusted with the service and the car we bought from the GM Art Munson. This man is a lot of hot air and your typical shady used car salesman and is the reason we will NEVER do business with the company or any other company associated with them in any way in the future. In February of this year we bought a 01 lexus is300 from him and the car hasnt driven since due to the bad key they gave us. The key was broken and needs to be completely reprogrammed for car to work for any length of time. We contacted the office on several occasions and were told "oh well, as is ya know". Well thats all well and good as far as parts go, but how about giving us a key that works properly and is not broken. I was tired of the run around and went with my son, who I bought car for with cash, to talk with Art my self in person. After explaining problem he sent us to Guardian locksmith making it sound like if we found out problem he would help us out. So locksmith was unknowledgeable and rude and basically tried to tell us that the key was fine and that we should go home and try the key and if the red light came on and then turned off that meant that the key was fine. Well we did exactly that and the light came on and went off so we assumed that the locksmith knew what they were talking about and figured okay then theres something wrong with the car and its not the key issue as we suspected. So once again we had to have the car towed for the second time to a shop who then in turn told us that they were unable to work on the vehicle to send it down to their other shop on 6th Avenue so then we had it towed from Parkland to 6th Avenue in Tacoma. After going over the car they said that the computer in the key was dead and that it needed either a brand new key made or to have the chip reprogrammed. Then we were informed that the only one that could do that is the dealership so here we are now were going to have to tow the car from there all the way to Fife three tows in two days. So now that we found out that its definitely the key I Tried getting hold of art who did not return my phone calls then I called the office told them I was trying to get a hold of art they said that they would call him and have him call me he never called. So then the next day we made a trip down to see art in person again. After him standing there talking a bunch of BS, trying to say how his phone was broken but yet in front of us was making and receiving calls, talking out of the side of his neck, it really came down to the fact that he wasnt going to help us in any way. He came up with all kinds of excuses telling us this and that and oh how he had to have the owners permission but yet hes the general manager and that the owner wasnt going to allow it which is all bunch of b******* so basically they sold us a car and gave us a key to the car that doesnt even work and wont even honor that. I have never dealt with a business that would not at least try to compensate in some way. I use to sell cars for a 5-star dealership and I can tell you if we sold a used car yes it was as is, but I can also guarantee you if you came back to us and told us that the key that we gave you to the vehicle you just bought doesnt work we would take care of you. This Automotive dealer is a rip off, a sorry excuse for a dealership and Art Munson is nothing but a liar, and the reason good car salesmen get a bad name, do not do business with this man or this company. Spread the word, we sure are!!

I give it a five star for the first time, because really, they worked hard with me to get a beautiful truck, which was actually totaled less than a year after I got it from them on my birthday in a hit and run accident. The sales person was great, but he is no longer there. I can say, they did a good job. I bought a car from Legend Auto Sales, and that was the worst mistake ever. They took the car from my hands. The car I bought from Legend Auto Sales broke down less than a month later and I could not get to work for an entire month and had to take leave to figure out what to do, because my investment just went to them. I went back again for the second time a year later, hoping to find another great vehicle. Well, there is the reason, that I am giving it less starts. The guy, who was showing me a full range of cars, did not know anything about cars. He had no clue. There were several vehicles with mechanical issues, with AC leaks, oil leaks and transmission fluid leaks etc. I am picky and know at the least to say, what is wrong with a car. He figured, a woman would not know. Too bad for being that stupid. I fixed my own cars several times, changing spark plugs, brakes, tie rod ends, oil, antifreeze etc. Well, sometimes you have to do it, when the budget is tight. I am not the best experienced mechanic, but I believe, that if you sell something, know at least what you are selling ! I was so disappointed, I left and never came back. I went to Seattle and found a car. I only had a 150 Dollars with me and he used it for a down payment. Less than two months later I paid off the truck I had bought from the insurance payment. I went to Metropolitan Motors. I may go back again for a second car....

Today, my husband and I went to Sabeti Motors in Tacoma to look at a truck wed seen online. We found a parking spot and began looking around for the sales office. We were greeted by a gentleman who introduced himself as "D", and asked us how he could be of help. We told him that we were there to look at a specific truck as well as to meet with Mike. Rather than give directions or point in the general direction, D took time away from what he had been doing to walk us through the shop, across the street into another building, locate Mike and personally introduce us to him. Ds genuine kindness and attentiveness was so refreshing! Getting that kind of a customer service is rare and quite noteworthy. We proceeded to work with Mike, going over the details of the truck during the test drive. We had a really enjoyable time talking with him! Close to both the beginning and the end, Mike welcomed me to drive as only my husband had driven. I was impressed with his awareness of the situation, in that I too, was a partner in the potential purchase of the Ford F350. Again, noteworthy. Provided agreeable terms, we wanted to go forward with the purchase as well as trade in our car. Mike introduced us to Art, with whom we entered into the most respectful and relaxed negotiations in our vehicle purchasing history. It felt more like an ongoing conversation rather than an uncomfortable seller/buyer situation. Our entire experience with the Sabeti Motors staff was outstanding.
