I just bought a car from Frank and I couldnt be happier. I really shopped around and they were able to match the lowest price I had found. However, the other dealer with the same price had less than stellar reviews and my experience with that dealer led me to believe the reviews might have something behind it. So I decided, based on these reviews, to go with San Francisco Toyota, despite it being in the city and farther away from my home. I was very glad due to the great customer service and professionalism I experienced. First off, I called Frank before I had checked the closing hours. Unfortunately, and unintentionally, I called him after the dealer had already officially closed. In fact, Frank was already home from work. Despite my objections that I didnt want to bother him on his time off, he brokered the deal to get me the price I was asking and then drove in back to work to complete the sale with me. Despite the dealership being hours past their posted closing hours the entire staff treated us with respect and didnt make us feel rushed at all. The sales manager, Alan, was also fantastic to work with. Both he and Frank never made us feel pressured or awkward like you might expect when you go to buy a car. From what I saw, Alan sets a level of professionalism which ends up being reflected in how his sales people operate. After we bought the card, Frank insisted he take the car to be washed (despite it now being close to 3 hours past their closing time) and spent time explaining all the details of the car while standing in the cold SF wind at night without a jacket. The next time I buy a car, I will definitely still do my research and shop around (as one always should) but, without a doubt, I will have a big preference to buy from Frank, Alan and the rest of the crew at San Francisco Toyota.

Philip Yue had his hands full when I decided to purchase my first car. From beginning to end SF Toyota was amazing. Ive never owned a car. Ever. So at 33 years old I thought it was time to bite the bullet and get into a car. Originally I was looking at the Matrix. Having seen many of them in San Francisco I decided to call SF Toyota. I spoke with someone (cant remember who, sorry) but they informed me they had some used Matrix for sale and they even had some in their Rental Department that I could rent to test drive. (awesome!!) Enter Ryan with the Rental Department. Ryan was great, got me a great price and informed me I could rent and even get some of my money credited back if I purchased through SF Toyota. Heck yeah! What a great idea. After test driving the Matrix I read a few reviews on the car and found out Toyota would be rolling out a smaller, city friendly Prius. The Prius C. I began renting with SF Toyota rather than Zip car or Enterprise once I knew what I wanted. Granted I had to wait several months. But I was finally able to get into my vehicle in March. The MSRP listed for the vehicle in the hundreds (and I mean hundreds) of reviews I read for the Prius C, was exactly what SF Toyota charged me. (And they even credited me back a little $$ I had spent on the rentals, not as much as I was hoping but with a low markup on this car I understood.) The patience Philip had with this crazy new car owner was amazing. He walked me through all the ins and outs of my new purchase. Ive had my new car for 2 days and I couldnt be happier. Thanks to all of the awesome folks at SF Toyota, ESPECIALLY - Ryan in the Rental Dept. and Philip in the Sales!

Ryan Dong knew up front that my wife and I had no interest in purchasing a car the day that we stopped in to look at a Prius. We were just killing time until our flight back to Arizona. However, he took the time to fully explain all the questions we were asking of him. As we left, we gave him our texting number and told him to work a deal. While we were on the Super Shuttle back to the airport, he started working his magic. Just as we were handing our luggage to the Southwest counter, he came through for us. He even came and picked us up at the airport with the car. After a few hours of paperwork, my wife and I were heading back to Arizona at 8 oclock at night in our new Prius. Ryan was even nice enough to run across the street and purchase us snack items so we would not be hungary on our trip home. As daylight came and we were still seven hours into our 15 hour trip, he started texting us first thing in the morning to make sure we were ok on the road. By two oclock that afternoon, he was still texting us to make sure we made it home and we did. It was an incredible story on how we purchased the car. We love telling people how the purchase happened. From a small town in Arizona, I know many of the people we talked to and showed them the car to would have no fear in traveling to San Francisco to purchase a car from Ryan. He came through for us with flying colors. We felt like we were treated as a king and queen. I have no doubt that when it comes time to trade in the Prius, we will absolutely be making another trip to San Francisco to enjoy the sites and see Ryan again. Greg and Susan

Recently I was on the market for a certified Toyota model and found it on 3 dealers. Left the Marin Toyota were I almost did the buy but decided to head to San Francisco Toyota to fulfill an appointment made earlier and that’s the best move I made. I’ve got an outstanding customer service from Steve “Sunny” Chen. Everything went perfect from the first contact he made after my online inquiry to the final sale. This young man is on the top of his game. He worked a better deal from the previous potential offer from Marin, gave me few options for the finance, matched the price for my trade in and all that in a friendly ‘no pressure’ ‘no hurry’ atmosphere. I ended up getting a vehicle totally clean with better mileage and, of course, an overall better deal. A piece of accessory was missing and I just noticed the day after (Saturday) so I contacted Sunny and he was extremely helpful getting this issue resolved. Sunny even called me on his day off (Sunday) to make arrangements for the replacement. It was all done in 72 hours. That’s customer service at its best. If you’re looking for a purchase at any Toyota dealer you may want to go straight to San Francisco Toyota and talk to Sunny. He’s a man to see. Guaranteed great customer service. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable and goes the extra mile for your business. I also want to give credit to Anthony Hom at the financial service. Thank you very much for making this car buying experience a pleasurable one! I do appreciate. Sergio

Erik Durazo was wonderful! I had purchased a "certified used" 2010 RAV4 in Berkeley. A week later we took the RAV4 to my moms and the car started making lots of noises on I5. We came back, driving 55 mph due to all the underbody knocking, and made an appointment with SF Toyota, who had serviced my 2006 RAV4 regularly before I traded it for the 2010. Erik was the assistant service manager who worked with me. He kept me informed the entire time they had to work on the vehicle. He even had to spend unnecessary time working with Berkeley Toyota to ensure that they finally submitted the warranty documents. I was very upset about buying what seemed to be a lemon and concerned that a part had been replaced that was not mentioned during the sale. Plus the rack & pinion had to be replaced. But again, Erik was amazing, constantly calling with updates and explanations. When I picked up the car, he greeted me and reassured me that the car was now safe enough for me to take my mom on a trip. Honest, I wanted to dump the car, but felt confident after hearing Eriks reassurances. Erik represents the reason I like going to SF Toyota for vehicle servicing. People are kind. They take the time to listen and to keep you updated. Erik is a guy of integrity. And he is incredibly kind. I am very grateful for his help and appreciative to all of the SF Toyota mechanics who worked on the car. My husband and I are happy with the results.
