Im so sad Im giving these guys a 1 star review but, customer service is important; its vital! For a long time now Ive wanted to purchase a Cricut Cutter, and I walked in to this store today to purchase one. They had the Explore Air on display but the going price for this machine is $300 so I walked over to the check out the Explore but noticed they also had a Cameo for relatively the same price. Upon looking at both I was struggling to make a decision when an employee who was restocking happened to walk by. MIND YOU, she didnt ask if we needed help with anything so we had to ask her ourselves. Which is fine but common customer service etiquette would dictate that a customer looking at an expensive item should probably require assistance. She nonchalantly said "there really isnt a difference" and walked off. Thankfully a fellow customer came by and highly recommended the Cricut from having used hers for so long which finalized our decision. Since Michaels requires you to ask an associate to get the box from the back we go to the front and the two girls (one of which is one weve already talked to) rudely asked what we needed, as if we just interrupted them from talking to each other. They informed us that they no longer have the Cricut in stock. FYI...WRITE THAT ON THE ITEM, IT WOULD HAVE SAVED US A LOT OF TIME. We then asked when they would get more and they said they werent, soooooooo maybe you should take it off the shelf. So disappointed in the service, Ive spent a lot of money here as a veteran crafter, much more money than what the cricut is selling for so Im highly disappointed in the overall experience Ive had today and hope this gets resolved immediately.

First of all, some of the employees are not properly trained in customer service. I had stepped away from my cart for ten seconds an aisle away to return an item. I thought I had gone crazy because the cart had disappeared. I found it a couple minutes later in the hands of an employee who was taking everything out of it. No big deal. When I had told her it was my cart, she just kept insisting it had been "abandoned." No apology, just attitude. If it were me, I would have sincerely apologized and offered to help retrieve the items I had put back. I have also learned to not rely on any of their sale postings above their products as they never seem to work out. There is always some condition that isnt met. Picture frames were BOGO except the ones I happened to grab. When I told the cashier that they fit the description of the sale posting exactly, just attitude (same girl who swiped my cart). I also remember another instance when I was lectured by a cashier for the size of my printed coupon. Seriously? From now on, I will be at Hobby Lobby next door!

I really like Michaels, so so so much to offer for crafts. Since I had my daughter, we love to do crafts quite often. The only disappoint I have seen is the classes they offer never get a lot of people. We visited the recent Slime event and that was a blast. But last October, the last time we came, we were attending a free event that was posted all over the place. The lady who was holding the class was not very friendly to begin with and she argued with me that I had to pay to attend the free event. I would pay the $2 for the class but it was the principal, dont offer a free event that claims is free on all the posts about it, then argue that it isnt free.

Ok, this is a pretty cool craft store and they have things Hobby Lobby doesnt. The three star reviews are due exclusively because of the womens bathrooms. They are nasty. They smell like pungent sewer one minute - then an eye burning, cough inducing, asthma attacking, vomit inducing potpourri smell the next. Whatever foul chemical they use to cover up the sewer smell should qualify their store as a Federal Superfund site. And I dont even have asthma or bulimia, but these bathrooms induce both symptoms.

I was mortified for the cashier when I went in. I unfortunately only had 100.00 bill to make my small purchase (20.00). The cashier asked another employee for change for her drawer and was treated like an inconvenience. The young lady who was our cashier was treated very poorly dispite it being my fault for not having smaller bills. I was made to feel like myself and my girlfriend were a hassle. Well, Michaels, fear not... I will not be returning. Someone else will get our money.

I drove 20 miles with 3 discount coupons to make a purchase at this store. The cashier told me that one expired the day before, one just wasnt valid anymore, and I had to come back 3 hours later to get 25% off my purchase because there would be a 4 hour sale today. So, my husband stopped by on his way home from work during the sale time to be told that he needed a coupon. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE EVER AGAIN.

extremely disappointed in the help I received after purchasing a cricut - 0. The coupons they run are misleading. the past 4 times I have made a purchase I have had to go back or question the purchase as it was not the sale" item, even though it what was with the sale items, or the coupon items. I have been a die hard Michaels customer until the past year. I will be looking else where for what I need.

Michaels is right next door to the giant Hobby Lobby, but Michaels is a much better place to go for yarn. All of their employees have always been friendly to me and I love Michaels as a place to get my crochet supplies. They have a great yarn selection and do great sales often.

Great store to find craft supplies at. I never buy anything on sale here though, I always wait for a sale or a coupon. Also the dollar to two dollar section is a great place to find fun little things such as notebooks and stamps. Employees are friendly and helpful

Love the merchandise. It can be hard to find a helpful associate, but once you find someone, theyre nice and will try to help you get what you need. Great silk flower selection. Usually pretty well stocked elsewhere. Large custom framing selection too.

Sucks that I just missed the 55% off yarns sale and another sale that ended today. Please CHANGE your store hours on google. Says you close at 8pm, and made sure I was there just in time to drop some dough... all to find out you closed an hour earlier.

This shop is allright the have TONS of fake flowers and cute crafty trinkets. The prices are a little high but they have a few good sales. The rules on returns and coupons are to strict for an arts n crafts store but all n all its a pretty nice place.
