They have cute stuff, but its expensive and the staff has never been friendly or helpful. We had to flag a fabric employee down last time we went and she sighed when we "caught" her. It seriously is like you have to trap them to get help. The other frustrating thing is they wont just display the price of an item. Almost every single item will have a price on it and then a sign above it saying how much off the labeled price it is. Its a marketing way of tricking consumers. They want you to believe you should buy a product because its only on sale for a brief time (You know, the true definition of what a sale means). When in actuality, they will always have a sign up saying its on sale, always. Then, they offer an amazing 40% off coupon online but you cant use it on anything!! This is because they say you cant use it on sale items yet, as I said, almost everything is listed as on sale at all times! This is another marketing trap on the consumer. They advertise this too good to be true coupon to get you in the store and then you cant use it on anything! It is a ridiculous con in my opinion. The prices are high and thats why they label everything as on sale. They want customers to think: "Yes, the price is expensive, but look what its original price wouldve been if it wasnt on sale." And then you end up buying a way too expensive item that never really was a true sale item to begin with. The items are cute and fun, dont get me wrong, but the quality is cheap and the prices too high. Id recommend going to Ross over Hobby Lobby if you are looking for cheap cute decor. The silk flower prices are insane as well. Try Walmart or even the dollar store for those. All in all, we dont ever want to go again. Its been the same bad customer service since they opened and they surely arent going to change their sleazy marketing techniques. When the woman checked us out last time, we got our coupons out on our phones and she flippantly ran everything down the register saying, "Nope, this is on sale, nope the coupon cant be used with candy, nope the fabric was 30% off, nope, nope, nope." We literally started laughing because that happens every single time we go. I politely told her everything is always on sale and she just glared at me rudely. She didnt even say I was wrong or tell me what wasnt on sale or what I could at least use the dang thing on since we had drove all the way there. If you have the coupon--dont bother. It has only worked once ever for me and that was on an already cheap item so the savings didnt matter. Their final trap is to make you feel like you didnt waste a trip over the coupon when you check out by giving you the false perception of, "Well, i didnt get to use the coupon, but it was 30% off anyways."

Me and my girilfriend and son used to always shop here for all of our art/craft needs, until one day I had a similar occurance like a previous reviewer, Christine Fries. Me and my family were in one day last month just window shopping, (did it often there) and when we decided we were done looking and started walking towards the entrance/exit, who im pretty sure is the manager, walked up and SHE asked me if I found everything alright. I found it very suspicious because the whole time we were in there, a lot of the staff were following us around but we didnt think anything of it because theyre always walking around, stocking and what not. When we reached the exit she asked me if I found everything okay and all I could do is give her a confused look and said yes and asked her as to why she was asking me as I was basically almost all the way out of the store. She said she was just wondering and making sure. As me and my family walked to our vehicle, her along with 2 or 3 other employees/managers were standing outside taking pictures of me and my vehicle. I laughed and still do. They dont get any more business from me. And btw if you are a human being that agrees with human rights, you would not support this business, as they take away from women and do not support homosexuality. Do some research if you dont believe me. Thanks for reading and hope this changes your mind about shopping at a harassing place like this smh

Im not a big fan of hobby lobby in general since they sued over not wanting to have to cover birth control in their insurance. Their stores are usually way too big for the number of staff they have on hand; you can spend your whole time there just looking for an employee. Today I stopped by to pick up some fabric as It was closest. I wanted two 1 yd cuts. When I asked for the cuts, the employee rudely said that she "doesnt do that" and Ill have to "do it myself". I seriously thought she was being sarcastic and laughed, but she actually wouldnt do the cut. Her job is literally to cut the fabric. I could see if it were busy, but I was the only costumer in fabrics. I usually go to Joannes and they are always super friendly when cutting fabric, commenting on patterns and asking about your project. Im not saying that chit chat is an absolute necessary, but theyve always been helpful with getting the fabric cut how I want it. Its not as though I asked her to cut out the pattern for me. Strange.

One of my fav places when there is something I need (like an accent table), crave (such as holiday decor and things), or a project to do (most recently a lavender door wreath I just made). Customer friendly- willing to help answer any questions- and store is clean and nice. A vast selection with unique items, good quality and service. I love it!

Hobby Lobby is our default place for shopping for supplies for our little familys craft business and for fun crafts with the children. I like how organized and well laid out everything is! Tips for improvement: Less home decor (that is already made stuff) and more craft supplies. Also, more childrens craft projects!

Customer service rude and accused my husband of thievery! We were there for my friend specifically. And all my husband did was put my sons jacket in the bag. Even after offering to let them look in the bag lady was very snotty not willing. Took our license plate number, what they want? Search my home? Welcome to do so

I have experienced wonderful service at our Nampa Hobby Lobby. I frequent the fabric section and would love to see some craft and sewing projects displayed when I need inspiration. Im not talking about clutter, just inspiration like one sees at other Hobby Lobbys. Other than that, I love our local store.

Manager Aimee (or some other funny spelling) is always so rude, to employees and customers. I spend a lot of time and money and Hobby Lobby and she always acts so annoyed if anything needs to be returned. Id much rather shop at the Meridian location where I always have a pleasant shopping experience.

They were having a huge sale 50% off.. then you realize they marked up all the prices. Went to get flowers and all signs 50% all everywhere... at register slow employee pulls out binder exception feathers... when that section also had a sign. I walked out purchasing nothing.
