I went to michaels tonight and it was 8:48 pm. My wife said we needed to hurry or they would kick us out. Really? Kick us out? Well to my surprise when we got in the door the lady at the front register sighed and said,"were closing in 6 minutes". I looked at my phone, it was now 8:49 pm. So that would be 11 minutes to close. All the employees made it a point to yell at each other across the store, "yeah, theres still people over in aisle 8!". Of course Im not going to try and stay after close but they literally made an effort to make it uncomfortable so that we would leave..i understand that there are those people who come in last minute and dont want to leave after the store has closed, but that doesnt mean you treat every customer like this. Especially if its happening on more than one occasion! Not to mention however many other customers have had to go through this. Im not trying to stay around passed closing time so dont assume that i am. Let me also add that instead of herding us out, why dont you ask if theres something you can help us find so that we can get out of there? Anyway by California law i can be there as long as the doors have to remain unlocked, which would be 9 pm! If the store manager doesnt already know about this and is reading this review, please take a look at your closing crew, it seems like theyve all rehearsed this move and are pretty good at it. If you are closed and Im there passed 9 pm, THEN you can kick me out.

First of all, none of the employees greet you and ignore you as youre walking through the store. And the cashier was extremely rude. She didnt greet me or handed me my receipt. The old hag just slammed it on the counter while talking to another employee. I was about to call her some inappropriate names but my mom was with me. This was on Friday, Dec 9, 2011 at around 6:15pm. The lady was old and skinny and had a short grey haircut. She was ringing up at the returns/exchanges cash register. So if a manager sees this, please train her on her customer service. Train all your employees before I go to corporate.

Lost a few customers today. I usually love this store and have no complains! Not today. I arrived at 645 and the doors were locked and the lady was literally standing there watching people walk away but didnt offer to let us in. I completely understand that its Sunday and everyone just wants to go home but closed at 7 means you lock the doors at 7... not before.

the worse Michaels I have ever been in , the isles are WAY too thin , can barelly fit a cart in the Isle. some of the staff has a major attitude problem and the selection is small. they dont even carry rubber bands... confused.

Going to a craft store you would hope atleast somebody would help your with your project, but nope. Nobody there seems to know anything about arts and crafts. The employees were nice, but couldnt help me very much.

Rude cashier :( didnt even look at me after I got my change and didnt hand me my bag or say your welcome when I said thank you :( the store is very organized though >_<
