Weve been going to Uppercase Books for over 15 years now, since moving to the Seattle area. Its been a favorite bookstore throughout that time and its neat to have it here in Snohomish. A couple years back, the shop changed management and I had a chance to talk with the new owners and employees. And while the previous owners were great, Im thrilled about some changes that the new people are making. The book selection had gotten a little static and the new owner is working on revamping the selection. Its going very well after just a couple months: I stop in once a week or so and have found some new real treasures in the used selection, as well as some fun books in a larger new book area. The book club is lively and special events at the shop are a blast. Heres wishing the new owners all kinds of success! Their ideas for improving an already very cool bookstore are terrific!

Leah, Cheryl, and staff at Upper Case Book Shop in Snohomish are AWESOME! By far the best book store anywhere in the local area. Great selection of new and used books in all Genres. Collectible and Rare books as well. I bought a Signed First Edition of a Fly Fishing book for my brother by one of his favorite authors here that he was totally pleased with for a Birthday present. I am currently reading two of the mystery novels I bought yesterday, and will trade them in for more when done. My highest recommendation! Great events for the kids with Harry Potter events, Halloween and other Holiday stuff, and Author events too.

Love. This. Shop. The antique and quaint feel just cant be overrated. They have a vast selection of books (used, collector, new) and are knowledgeable about many authors and genres. The store has many little spots where you can plunk down into a chair or in a corner and immerse yourself in a book for a few moments, or a whole afternoon. Plus, on Harry Potters birthday they open the Cupboard Under the Stairs! Oh my goodness! How cool is that?! Right?! Definitely check them out :D You wont be disappointed.

Great selection for such a small store. Be sure to scope out the older book section upstairs. Staff are exceptionally knowledgeable about their stock, authors, most things to do with books. They also have access to some limited printings you wont find online or in major chains. And theyll search and/or order things not currently in stock.

This place is super snazzy, they have so many selections, will get in special orders and have a ton of new items!! The owner is lovely and customer service is awesome. Definitely check this store out if you want a great experience, kids stories told on tuesdays and my daughter really enjoys that!

Ive lived up the road for 3 years and today was my first visit. I had a wonderful experience and the staff gave me a full tour of the building and informed me that I could bring in books for store credit, very neat idea! I love the space they set up for reading! Like a home away from home.

Favorite book shop ever! The staff LOVES their bookstore and it shows through their excitement and vast knowledge. This cozy cabin filled with books has such character and love in inside you just want to stay for hours. My daughter could spend an entire day in here too! Love it!
