It seems to me that bookstores like B&N became/replaced the library for a generation of people in the 90s and 2000s. Its still common today to wander the store and see people chilling out on the furniture reading an Idiots Guide to Eastern Philosophy here, or on the floor flipping through the pages of Explosive Ordnance Quarterly there. Just as library systems across the country struggle to get constituents into their establishments, B&N now finds itself in a similar struggle. In the end, whether its their cheap products, ecommerce solutions, or soon to be all-encompassing A.I. Alexa, Amazon comes for us all. I for one welcome our Prime-eligible overlords. Anyway, this location has a good café and a solid selection of Legos. 4 starts.

I love this place and I have spent many many hours there over the last 16 years. The cafe faces the birched tranquil lakes in the back of Costco HQ, you can sip latte and look through the books, or do something on your notebook, or just flow with your thoughts looking through the window. The store has book on all topics, and if a specific book is missing, you can order, but my favorite sections were business, management, finance, self-improvement, weight management... The only drawback I see is that the place can be a bit crowded Friday or Saturday night.

Apparently, current store policy at this time is to call 411 to verify your address if you use a check for payment. If 411 claims you dont live in the city listed on your check and/or ID, they will refuse to honor your check. I had lived at the residence listed for two years and a day, but apparently 411 couldnt find me. The store manager was unable to understand the concept of "unlisted". I will not be shopping at any branch of this store until the policy of treating me like a criminal has changed.

Smaller than your average B&N and the whole shopping center is spread out and difficult to find things, but the experience was what you expect: mostly quiet, relaxing sound of the cafe in the back of the store, clearly labeled book sections, and over-loaded tables full of non-book collectibles, toys, and games.

Issaquah has a shortage of book stores so many residents end up at Barnes & Noble. This is an excellent store with great staff, plenty of selection in a great space and a cafe in the back to take care of your pastry and coffee needs if your search for your next book takes awhile.

Clean, quiet and a vast selection of everything you would expect to find at a modern book store. The coffee shop serves Starbucks beverages and snacks similar to those found at Starbucks. Worth stopping in for a relaxing shopping experience and coffee break.

Its a good location right by the movie theater and across from Red Robin. The prices are high but you are buying new books. There is also a coffee shop in the back that is a good place to relax.
