I stopped by to purchase bottle of wine and the woman working there was cold and dismissive. I asked her the price of a specific bottle of rose and she said $21.95, but she charged me $24+tax. She rang me up for "outdoor 4" (not sure what that is, but its not the bottle obviously). The store was closing so I didnt ask her outright and I didnt take a look at the check until I left. Bottom line, check your receipts here and better yet buy your wine elsewhere because their selection is overpriced by 5/6$.

I have been patronizing Sixth Avenue for several years and have always had excellent service and enjoyed their delicious selection of wine! They make excellent recommendations when asked to pair with a certain food or what to bring to a wine tasting. I feel so at home in there, they even greet me by name when I come in. Its always a pleasure to be part of this family!

Pretty much family run and you can tell! The staff is SUPER friendly, they have fun events like Thirsty Thursdays or the occasional viewing of an event (Games, award shows, etc). Bev, the owner, has always been spot on with her wine suggestions. If you dont find what you want, they can usually order it for you.
