It is never a good experience wen going to this store. Ive seen multiple people get kicked out for doing nothing, at the behest of the ignorant staff that seems to get off on exerting their pseudo authority over their customers. They constantly profile me and other customers, assuming the worst every time. Their dressing rooms close at 4pm and the first time I shopped there, I asked if it was okay to change near the dressing rooms. The next time I was shopping, doing the same thing, and an employee asks me to leave and scolds me for thinking I could try on things outside the dressing rooms. The ignorance and judgment of the employees here is unlike anything Ive ever experienced. When speaking to the manager, she was of zero use and had no insight. This store Is run by ineptitude, and acts as if they are too good for some customers. They are constantly assuming the worst, and Ive been shopping there for almost a year now. I thought this was a charity run by Christians. Sad thing is, it reflects so poorly on both charities and on Christians to the point that I am bitter and cynical and I tell everyone I know never to go there because of how they treat people. They use their right to refuse service like its some sort of defacto justification for being complete ignorant jerks. I will continue my tyrade against Salvation Army because of how terrible literally every staff member is at their jobs. 0/5 stars. They will be losing thousands in revenue because of my experiences there. Im 30 years old and never once have I experienced such a terribly negative shopping trip, that is humiliating. Never, EVER, again!

Checkout at this store is always slow but today was the last straw. After waiting in the proper spot for more than five minutes the clerk finally stopped chatting with the old woman who apparently wasnt buying anything after all and called somebody over who just walked up, even though there were three of us in line. Then had the nerve to tell me to step back and "Hold My Horses" when I stepped forward to point out that we were there. She then said that "I should know how this works, and shell get to me when shes ready". Needless to say I walked out after leaving my purchase on the counter, I am really not coming back this time. I have been shopping there since the early eighties, but back then they would actually sell you something!

Cluttered and disorganized, a extreme fire hazard. One person their told me that the main reason this place has no mens shoes and hundreds of ladies shoes is because the drug rehabilitation center next door has all the dopers get to pick three pairs of new shoes when they check in, leaving the junk to be hopefully sold in their thrift stor. He was in the program himself, so I do believe him. Their disporportant selection is something that I have actually been wondering about for a wile. Now I know and so do you.

Sizable selection of frames & furniture (a lot of older, solid wood pieces mixed with some more recent stuff). They even carry appliances & gym equipment here. Clothing selection is average and a little unorganized. Colored-coded knick knacks are a nice touch. Wicker baskets galore. Wall of electronics. Weak on tools & home garden. Some of the prices are a little high for thrift, but there are good specials every month. Keep an eye on the calendar.

I love this thrift store! It is humongous, so I can always find some version of whatever I need. Also, I love supporting the Salvation Army because they do so much good for people who need help. When I was in my twenties they gave me $5 for gas one time, so Im a customer for life! The other large chain thrift stores are a profit motivated rather than good deeds motivated. So Salvation Army is where I spend my money.

Clean, fun place to shop for bargains. The staff are helpful and courteous. Their shopping month is filled with sales and discount opportunities. Its also a great cause as the Salvation Army is focused on helping those in need. Its a win-win situation all around.

Not everyones style, but a fun experience looking around. A friend of mine also was helped very much by their re hab program and training as a chef through fare start. S A helps the community more than most people realize.

Some of the best selections for furniture among thrift stores in the Seattle area. Take advantage of their regular specials to get the best deals, but be prepared for the lines waiting to get in when the doors open.

Every thrift store seems to consistently have a better selection in one dept than the others. This stores strong suit is without a doubt its furniture. Amazing pieces worth the visit

A lot of the clothes I looked at had small bleach or paint spots. At roughly 50% off what Id expect to pay (on sale) for new clothes in a regular retail store, this is unacceptable.

This place is huge and has a wide variety of items. Good finds are rare and require some work. Store is generally untidy and the clothes seem a bit less clean than they should.
