Really love this place! Super nice staff even when its busy, super clean place, super fast in and out, and the doctor Jeff Woerner is really great! Sometimes playing the this one or this one game can be daunting and some doctors seem annoyed if you have to have them do it a few times (Ive got really bad vision so it takes a lot of back and fourths to get the right lenses for me). Im pretty firm when I get a cranky doctor because I really need to get my vision right but I have friends who get intimidated into just wildly guessing about which lens works best because the doctor seems too impatient to take the time to make sure theyre allowed to pick the right lens. While it doesnt happen to me I have certainly had my share of experiences where, were I not a more firm person, I could see that happening, but every single time I see Woerner hes completely pleasant and patient. Hes never even almost irked by being asked to flip back and fourth a lot. Hes really just an A+ doc and really seems to wanna make sure you leave feeling like you made the best vision choices. I couldnt recommend this place more.

When people ask me how I met my husband, I tell them ‘he looked into my eyes and fell in love.’ He did look into my eyes (for my post op exam for Lasik surgery) and he did eventually fall in love with me. 11 wonderful years later of being married, I couldn’t be more proud of you opening up your own practice. It’s a little surreal that youre up and running after so many years of talking about it (and scouting out every new hole in the ground in South Lake Union on our walks around the neighborhood). Oculus has been a labor of love (and angst) but you finally did it! I know I’m completely biased, but I do think you’re one of the best eye doctors in Seattle and anyone that knows you can attest that you’re genuinely a nice person which is how you treat your patients also. Thank you for being such a great husband, father and my best friend.

I just moved to seattle. I took a shot in the dark by going to oculus. I had seen it on Denny and it looked flashy so I gave it a go. Dr. Woerner was incredible. Really friendly and took way more time to explain things to me than he needed to. He explained exactly how my prescription worked and how he figures out the tolerances in prescriptions. Because I am from Canada he also explained exactly how my insurance coverage works. At the end of my exam the eye wear team helped me find some really great glasses from an incredibly unique collection. I didnt even want to shop around. Oculus has my complete confidence. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Woerner and his team.

It was the best experience Ive had an an optometrist. The staff was great and have very convenient times for working professionals. Plus I got an appointment in just two days. Also Dr. Woerner was really friendly and not only happily answered all of my questions but also but me at ease so I felt comfortable asking them in the first place. I can say that not only do I have a better fit contacts but he also suggested I switch brands to help with my night vision worries. Five stars for sure! Ive already told a friend and thoroughly recommend this place. I dont usually write reviews but they seem like a new facility and would love to help drive their business.

I picked Oculus based on their online reviews, and I was not disappointed. Not only is the store/office beautiful, the staff are super friendly and helpful. They were even helpful with my normally very confusing insurance information. I called the day of my appointment to ask if I could get in any earlier, and they were so accommodating! Once I arrived and met Dr. Woerner, I was even more pleased. He was friendly and professional, and helped calm my slightly irrational fears about my eyes. I was really impressed with how quick and professional all of the staff were. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for new eye care.

My husband and I needed eye exams and went online to book an appointment. They didnt have an opening for 3 weeks so my husband called and they got us in the following Saturday. Check-in was a breeze. Lucas was super friendly and explained what the insurance covered and how much the extras were. He also helped me choose new frames and was honest about how it looked on me. In the end, I found a style and color I loved. Dr. Ho was really friendly and easy to talk to. She was thorough and answered all of my questions. Would definitely recommend.

The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Dr. Woerner took the time to show me the pictures of the inside of my eyes, asked lots of questions to determine my needs for contacts, was thorough and efficient. The space is lovely: uncluttered and light with a very nice selection of frames. I especially appreciated Jaimies help; she did not just tell me which frames looked good on me, but helped me to pick the ones that fit well. I walk by Oculus every day, so it is very convenient for me. It may, however, be a tough location for parking.

I am new to Seattle and searched online for clinics with strong reviews in order to find my new optometrist. Dr. Woerner and the staff at Oculus were truly excellent. Scheduling the appointment was easy and I had the option of receiving a text reminder to check in slightly in advance of my appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted and checked in promptly. Dr. Woerner took time during the appointment to really listen to my concerns and discuss options that would work for me. Thanks to the whole staff for a great experience. Ill be back next year!

I recently moved to Seattle with my wife. We both desperately needed eye exams and glasses, so I stopped in one day to set up an appointment and was able to book an appointment for the following Saturday! From start to finish, everyone we worked with was kind, genuine, and professional. Dr. Ho took was thorough and very, very friendly. She even gave us some recommendations of places to visit while in Seattle. I walked out with glasses ordered AND a list of interesting Seattle events/attractions. Wow!

Oculus Eyecare is in a great location, right at the corner of Dexter and Denny, easily accessible by bus, walking or by car - they even have a parking lot! The store is very bright and airy and welcomes you in. Dr. Woerner is really friendly. He answered all my questions about the new digital equipment in the exam room with a smile. The staff was great, very friendly and not "salesly". Oculus has a great selection of frames in all price ranges. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic basic exam prices ($99), easy to find (not much parking, but easy to walk to) great staff, and the doctor is very friendly and chatty! He didnt make you feel rushed at all, and explained everything very thoroughly and is easy to-understand terms. Would definitely recommend to anyone who doesnt have insurance, and likes chatty, people-friendly staff. They also sent me email and txt alerts to remind of of my appointment, which was hugely helpful!
