This place is horrible. My husband and I are from out of town and are huge gamers we stopped here because we thought it would be fun to visit a localy owned game store. I found the store it self to be interesting. They sold a lot of old games and systems that were fun too look out. Before we left I decided to buy a super nintendo and a couple games because Ive been wanting one for a while and dont have places to buy them back home. For the console, an extra control, Zelda, and Doneky Kong he chagred me $138.00! Me being ignorend and excited I bought it on impulse thinking that I was getting a decent deal...everything worked, and looked to be in good shape. When my husband and I got back to the hotel we decided to look online for other games that we might buy for it and to see how good of a deal we got. We shortly realized that we got screwed. For the same console, with an extra control and 14 games on ebay, all in excellent condition for $59.00! Thinking that was unusual we did more online research and found out that we paid WAAAAYYYYY to much for what we got! I def. dont recommend going to Game Town on Aurora ave N, they will rip you off. They dont give fair deals, they take advantage of people who might not have all of the knowledge about things like that. And there was no prices on anything which makes me asume that thats exactly how they get over on people because they can make up a price on the spot when they realized what they are dealing with. We def. learned a lesson the hard way but dont want it to happen to anyone else!

THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC! The owner is a really nice dude and a retro game nerd (like my self). On my most recent visit I spent the majority of the time just talking to him about everything from the past and upcoming Retro Game Expos to the weird stuff people bring into sell to the array of different cases that were made for the game-boy. As a whole the store has a great selection of games ranging across the generations from Atari to modern consoles. Their prices seem to be kind of hit and miss, some things seem overpriced, while others are absolute steals! Ive been able to find some pretty rare items here and at insanely cheap prices. I recommend this store 100% but think it is worth saying that you should know what you want and how much you are willing pay for it when shopping there.

Decided to take a look at this store and see if I could score a copy of skyrim for the ps3. They had 12 of them right next to each other $49 each... Now I was a pawn shop manager for 10 years, so I know used merchandise prices very well. Looked around for a few more mins looking at about 30 items and I would say 28 of them were WAY OVER PRICED. I would also say by the conversation I overheard while in the store they probably didnt pay more then 5-10 dollars each for most of the newer generation console games there. I dont think they are interested in passing the savings on to their customers. This place seems more like a rip off hoarding outfit to me. Scored Skyrim off craigslist the next day for 15 bucks.

Pros: Great prices. Large-ish selection of good retro and modern games. One of the younger employees was rad. Also lots of board games. Cons: Owner and other employees were quite rude. Cartridges were quite dirty, unable to run without being cleaned. No knowledge of their own stock. Unable to ask questions regarding such over the phone. My issues probably major to some, are really minor to me. I just want to buy games for my collection, and I would recommend others for the same purpose. Just make sure to test games before buying.

I wish I could give them minus 5 stars. I went in there with my 2 children to look for some games. The owner was there. He was SCREAMING and BERATING his employee right in front of us, cussing and yelling with my kids right in front of him!!! We immediately left and will not be going back. The man has no respect and if I were that girl, Id tell him to shove it and walk out!!! I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT STORE AGAIN!!! On top of everything else, their prices are HORRIBLE!!! $25.00 for used Game Cube games!!! WHAT!!! Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!!!!

I went to this store during our visit to Seattle. Im a hardcore collector of NES and SNES games. This place has a real good selection. There are a lot of titles in the display case, but then they guy asked if I wanted to see the back room and it was FILLED with even more vintage video games. While the selection is good, the prices werent the best. Many of the titles were quite a bit overpriced. All in all though I would recommend this place to a vintage collector.

I went in to sell some games this afternoon. I asked the guy behind the counter "How you doing" and he replied "I dont know, how am I doing?" I put my bag of games on the counter and then he preceded to very condescendingly tell me that he was unable to look at my games because they were still in the bag. Maybe it was his sense of humor but I walked out at that point. Maybe he was having a bad day?

Walked in on a whim since we were in the Seattle area visiting family and was pleasantly surprised. They have a good, expansive collection of games to browse, and the staff was both knowledgeable and friendly. Ended up finding a ton of games and systems for both myself and my wife. The guy behind the counter was very helpful the whole time and a pleasure to talk to.

Awesome store. Diverse selection and decent prices. The two guys working while I was there seemed friendly. I probably wouldnt recommend the store for really young children as its not very big, and they have a lot of collectibles and vintage items on low shelves that could be accidents waiting to happen.

these people are rude and unhelpful I was asking a question through the phone and the person that picked up responded with a rude tone and said "lets see there worth nothing so Ill give you a dime" and then I asked why is that and he said "you know what Im not gonna give you a dime Ill give you a penny"

Unless you have to go the mall, you should be buying your games here. I passed it too many times before, but this is where I get all my games now. Almost everything has a cover and manual, and buyback is for cash, not store credit. A better alternative to those students over at Gamestop.

Went in for simple disc drive repair, they tried to sell me on red ring repair by using faulty power cords in their store. When I called the guy out, he became indignant, wouldnt offer me a discount for my wasted time and gas, and didnt want my business. Wow.
