EXTREMELY overpriced. I paid $5 for a ps1 memory card at Cd/game exchange. came here 4 days later to get a mini usb plug for my ps3 controller. I found a used one for $9.99(remember this). The line was 3 people deep and the first person was trading in a couple systems, so I decided to browse there accessories. I was horrified when I saw the price on their ps1 memory cards. They wanted $15 for a plain grey 8mb memory card. I shook my head in embarrassment as I went to go stand in line. As I stood there waiting for the guy in front of me to get done so it would be my turn, I happened to glance at the gondola to the right of me. My curiosity got the best of me. As I stood there staring at this gondola, my eyes came across a product hanging up that made my eyes widen, my heart stop, and my brain go dead. I stood there staring at a brand new mini usb plug for the ps3 controller............for $9.99. I asked the lady at the counter if she would drop the price of the used one, to which she politely replied "NO!". I put the used one back and bought the new one. I dont think I will be going back.

Very good store - very helpful. Not to big of a selection on used PS3 games (which is what I recently switched too) but for every other system its pretty darn good and overloaded with used games, especially xbox360. Manager (Jackson) does and will, with no problem go out of his way to figure out what games I may or may not like and track down the ones that fit my very minimal style. Very helpful with my kids stuff as well. He and his employees actually spend time having conversations and are very polite. I spent 2 hours there a few days ago and only because I am very talkative and spent 90% of that time in conversations without then giving you the "ok, Yah yah and uh huh responses like they are annoyed, instead he started a lot of it himself. They also are (depending who you talked too) highly knowledgeable on video games v and accessories. Selection: B- Everything else: A+

This place truly sucks! Dont ever buy from here. These guys will tell you that you have 1 day to return and then they dont give you your money back. What they do is give you a in store credit and dont give you your money back if they cant provide the same thing. And after Christmas they are all picked over and you dont get what you intended on because you have to use the in store credit only on that one day return. What you end up with, with this store is a poor excuse of a cheesey way of theft!

Without a doubt one of the best experiences Ive had with a store period! My children and I stopped in on a whim and were curious about some games and a console. The representatives they had were excellent in explaining all of the details of a certain game my children were interested in, and explained to them both how each worked on their individual consoles. There was a slight mix-up in compatibility, but they were amazing at solving our problem and will now be our familys go to store for games! You guys rock!

Friendly service and they know what they are doing the prices are relatively cheap for what the games are and the games are always working (from experience Ive purchased maybe 30 games from this gamestar location and Ive only had one game that had issues) the selection is great from the original Nintendo console to xbox 1 ( the ps4 selection isnt so great) I would choose gamestar over any other used game seller any day

Have you ever needed some obscure accessory for your old console? I had just about given up, and then I walked into GameStar in Gresham. The polite and knowledgeable young person behind the counter made sure that I knew what the equipment would and would not do for me, then produced one from the counter display case! Excellent service, excellent price, I just found my new home for video games and accessories.

been in a few times before and couldnt find anything I was specifically looking for. that is to be expected for a used game shop. it is nice to have an option who isnt money hungry gamestop! people seem friendly and prices are ok. I give it a 4/5 because it took a few times for me to find something I wanted. great place to shop though!

Learned the hard way that they wont give you a refund on defective items. They only offer in-store credit, even if the item they sold you is faulty. On the receipt, it says they guarantee all items. Ive honestly never heard of a return policy that wont allow you money back on anything faulty/defective. Its unfair and ridiculous.

They ALWAYS NEVER have cash trades for games. Literally ALWAYS. Why advertise it when you NEVER have CASH for game trade in? Doesnt make sense as they never know when theyll ever do cash for game trades & its been like that for quite some time. At least remove the cash portion out of your store as its never available.

My favorite local game store. Nothing is brand new, so dont ask. But they get trade-ins all the time, so you never know what little gem you might find. Helpful and courteous staff make every visit pleasant.
