This review is mainly for the grooming department. I take my small chihuahua here to have a bath, get his nails trimmed, and have his anal glands expressed once per month. I brought him in frantically one afternoon because I had just adopted my dog and he would not stop licking his butt! I thought something was wrong but after research found it was likely his anal glands were full. When I walked in they were very nice and one of the groomers (Hope) examined his glands and let me know that they were very full. She explained how often they needed to be expressed and even how to do it at home, if we found my dog was aggressive. I had to go home to get his vaccinations, when I arrived again she took him back and expressed his glands. He felt much better. Ever sense that day Ive come to Hope to have him cleaned up. She is very patient and gentle with him. She always suggests new ways we can make the process more comfortable for him. He is still getting used to human interaction and she is always patient and updates me with how he did that time. She seems to treat him like one of her own pets and I appreciate that. Ive always had good experiences with phone support while Im making appointments and all the groomers and other associates are very friendly. This store does not have a huge variety of anything. Id say its the convenience store of pet stores. What you will find, though, is low associate turn-over rates which means you often get to speak with the same person again. Very friendly associates who often ask if you have found everything ok and can make suggestions when they dont carry a certain product.

I just had the worst experience at this Petco. I had a couple coats for my dog gifted to me. They were too small and I wasnt given a receipt. I called before hand to see what I can do about my situation and they told me I can either exchange them for a different size or they could give me store credit for the items. Since I wasnt feeling looking around the store at the time for something else I chose to just get store credit so I can come back later to find something. The minute I walked into the store the guy at the register was VERY rude about the whole thing. He asked if I had a receipt and I told him that I had previously called about it then he just interrupts me saying he needs to get a manager. The manager comes out and they way they were both acting was very obvious like they thought I stole the items. I even bought a special treat for my dog before I left the store and I could see both of them watching me as I was browsing the treats as if I was going to steal something! Needless to say, I dont feel welcome in the store when Im being treated like a criminal. Never coming back here. Sorry Bellevue Petco, but you just lost a customer and most likely a few more. Think about how you are treating your customers.

Everyone in the store was super friendly and helpful!!! We came in with our new husky lab and all the petco team came around to say hi to her! Shout out to the guy (I apologize I forgot his name, but hes one of the trainers at this location and ha somewhat wavy black hair) who spent over 30 minutes talking to us and giving us a lot of tips for our new puppy. No judgement shown for a pair of new puppy owners while we asked a bajillion questions. Thanks for helping us feel a little bit more comfortable!

This place should learn about costumer service. I just went 15" to use the self service dog wash and the girl at the front desk named Rei (who by the way made us wait to be "attended") told us that we couldnt use the self service dog wash because she already cleaned the baths up. Excuse me?? Isnt the service suposed to be open until 8? Does it take 45 minutes to clean up a shower? I have two medium short fur dogs... That doesnt make sense at all. Really bad experience.

NEVER GET YOUR DOG GROOMED HERE. I brought my shih tzu and the girl looked at him, told me she was going to shave his ears after ripping at them with a brush and scaring my poor dog. He didnt look good after his groom either. They are not gentle and the worst costumer service I have ever experienced, I will never bring my dog to this Petco again. The one in Sammamish is great.

I got 2 fish from here a gold fish and a black moor, and one of them brought a disease. My new gold fish and my Pleco Ive had since 2008 died. And my other goldfish Ive had since 2008 is very sick, but the Black Moor is all happy and healthy. Also since getting fish from here my ammonia is sky high. DO NOT BUY FISH FROM HERE.

I brought my dog in for full service grooming and the staff did a terrible job. She came back smelling worse than before I brought her in. She acquired a heavy pet + cleaning agent smell like the ones in the kennels. They also did not trim her nails like they were supposed to. Never going back again.

Went in looking for a few things. Not impressed. Found what I needed but decided not to purchase it due to the atmosphere the employees were creating in the background. Customer service needs to highly improve. Over priced inventory. Sorry but I shall not return. Going back to small local stores.

DO NOT GET YOUR PET GROOMED HERE. They made my 1 year Maltese bleed when using the shears and didnt even tell us. My dog smelt worse when he came back. They also were just dragging him around rather than being gentle. My dog now is scared of getting trimmed. Absolutely non-professional service.

This particular store is not well stocked for aquarium supplies. Only the basics. Looking for a glass hood? Looking for a specific type of medicine? Looking for that one brand of food thats always hard to find? Or the right size filter pad? Finding those items is a crap shoot at this store.

Grooming salon & staff were more than happy to help with my overactive (and extremely vocal) husky to trim his nails & get a new training harness on. They were very helpful - I definitely recommend this store.

Very knowledgeable staff. Grooming-wise they need to learn how to deal with dogs that have issues with being crated. They will only do a "wash n go" for him, which makes us both sad.

They often close before the posted closing times. This is very frustrating to me as a consumer. Stores should either honor their hours or change them.
