I took my dog this morning to a grooming salon that happens to be inside the EarthWise Pet Supply store near Kmart. While the groomers did a great job and were very courteous, on my way out of the grooming area, the owners dog that was looking very vicious and had "in training" sign on him but was nevertheless roaming loose in the store, jumped and attacked my 10 month old friendly puppy. He bit her nose through and she was bleeding. The owner didnt even apologize. I will not patronize that store anymore and am making arrangements to see the groomers elsewhere. Be careful with your pets and your kids if you go in there but I dont even suggest you go in there based on how the owner treated what happened. Then, when I reported the incident to the Animal Control and got a call back from the Animal Control Officer today after I filed a report, I was SHOCKED when I heard him say that when he went to investigate the incident and met with Brett, the store owner, who was there for my incident and who was keeping the dog for one of his employees on and off for 3 years, told the Officer to his face that the Pit Bull did NOT belong to anyone working at the store and that it belonged to one of the Customers! :-O and that he, Brett, asked that customer to not come back to the store anymore. You can imagine my shock and surprise at the guts of this Brett guy to lie like that to the Officers face, which I, of course told the Officer that there are at least DOZEN of accounts of that dog being aggressive toward other dogs and people over the period of at least over a year and that it indeed belonged to an employee and Brett was keeping the dog for her. Even in his Facebook statement he said the dog was one of the employees. He is starting to get lost in his own lies. The Officer was also shocked at such a behavior. Please dont shop at the place where the owner clearly has a problem with honesty.

Wonderful grooming experience for my recently adopted cat. I was very nervous about how my cat would react to shampoo and fur trim, but the staff were so very calm and knowledable. My cat loved it and slept quietly on the way home in the car. The store is very clean and well organized. I would recommend Earthwise Pet Supply and Grooming very highly for your pet needs!!
