Had some mixed reviews on my overall experience at the Big 5 Sporting Goods Store in Olympia, WA. Was looking for a running for myself and basketball shoes for my cousin. The young lady who helped me out picking the right shoe was very helpful. Was able to get the right running shoes for me. Unfortunately, they did not have the shoe size for the basketball shoes I was looking for. The real surprising experience came when I was paying for my purchase. The lady who took my payment only asked me for my zip code and that was it. No thank you or nothing... So sad. I think they need to review their customer service manual...

Customer service was a joke! I asked a simple question and it took 15 minutes plus and three people to get a correct answer and of course....they didnt have what I was looking for and prices were way to high! Cabellas are a lot better retailer with better prices selections and employees. They are getting 1 star because I have to leave a star for a review

tried calling in about a heavy bag the women seemed very annoyed about me asking I was transferred to 3 different people and what should have taken about 35 seconds ended up taking over 5 minutes. Not sure how they are in the store but on the phone theyre atrocious.

Awesome customer service! I went today looking for rugby gear (which no one in the United States seems to carry) and for some real help here from a female associate. Have me some insight on alternative options to try and she was really on point.

The customer service is poor. The ladies that work at this location are rude. The quality of their gear is comparable with walmart, but the prices are a little higher at big 5. When you return the low quality gear they tray you like a criminal.

This is a small store, so it has a crowded feel. Big 5 has always had great deals on shoes. They have a varying wide selection on sale at all times. From what I saw the prices here are more competitive than they have been in past years.

Today I needed snoreling masks but they had limited stock. Staff was also overwhelmed or just tired? I have been I several times and have gotten better service. I will be back and probably just caught them on a bad day.

Friendly staff & the manager showed us how to switch out roller blade wheels. Trying to navigate through the clothes racks & smalls aisles packed with things was a challenge with carrying a baby though.

Awful, the manager of all people was arms crossed starting at me every aisle. Dont go here if you even look slightly alternative, theyll assume you steal and blatantly follow you around. Disgusting.
