I like the Central Market in Mill Creek because there are lots of choices, although they are overpriced compared to QFC. However, a month or so ago after walking out of the store I suspected I was over charged for something, but let it go. So I have been watching more carefully lately. Today, October 27, 2015 I went in for some no bake cookies because they have the best ones around, and believe me I have tried them all. In addition to the cookies I also stopped by the deli and got a pound of Bolognese & Pasta to take home for lunch. I looked at the scale when she weighed it and it was within an ounce of one pound. I started to walk away from the deli and looked down at the price sticker she printed out and placed on the top of the container and it was marked well over $11.00. I remember the sign next to the Pasta saying the cost was something over $7.00 a pound. So I turned around and asked why it was about $4.00 more a pound than what the sign said. She apologized and said she made a mistake. I will keep my eye more closely on prices from now on!

I stopped in here to sit and read at there eating area after stopping at the library across the street. I decided to check my food stamp card to make sure some documents Id sent Social and Health Services the previous day had gone through. They did and I had $242. So I bought a salad, and as I was eating I saw that I had 197 left. Thinking I had been overcharged, I went to a cashier to try and figure out what happened. I thought perhaps a glitch in their register. I was helped by cashier Courtney, with blond hair in a ponytail and a black shirt with no nametag. Turns out I had misheard the balance on the card. There was 206 on it before the salad. Thank you endlessly to Cashier Courtney for sticking with me and helping resolve the issue while also providing exemplary customer service. I will definitely shop here again. Make sure Courtney gets credit for this please, and thank you again.

One sleepy superbowl sunday, I decided to conduct a test while most shoppers were at home watching the game. I wrote down a list of 30 items I commonly buy at grocery stores, and price checked each of them at Central Market, and a nearby Albertsons. I anticipated that Central Market would be more expensive, on account of its larger selection, more professional staff, and generally more comfortable atmosphere. To my surprise, Central Market actually was a few dollars cheaper than Albertsons. It was a narrow margin, but it was enough reason for me to never go to Albertsons again. One key difference is their larger selection. Take olive oil for example, at Albertsons you might find a few different brands, but at Central Market they have half an aisle of it- whether you want to get the cheapest stuff or something really premium is up to you.

Amazing supermarket. Scratch that, amazing "Ultra Market!". This place is huge! The produce section alone dwarfs the size of most places alone. While its a bit expensive to shop here, its super worth it. I really liked their oriental section, and they have done wares that are imported such as fancy ceramic plates that you will never find anywhere else. Their sushi is really good too. They have an intense array of meats and the freshest thing next to a fish market for your seafood needs. They often have samples of specialized chowders or other seafood soups that are just so good. Their live crab also is kept fresh, with no straglers clinging to life. Ive spent an hour here alone just wondering around.

great place to shop but unfortunately I had a bad exp I was shopping there today and after leaving was flagged down by the store manager who informed me that some of the younger females working there were uncomfortable with me being to close to them while I asked were products were at the store if I am to close to you tell me I am not a psychic I dont know if I am in your space speak louder so I can here you and I will move I was kind upset and dont think I will be going back to this store anymore its a shame I went there every night but if they are not comfortable with me I can go to Safeway

Awesome place to work and shop! Employees are amazing and super friendly. The produce is the best around. Meat and seafood departments are top of the line. The bakery and deli are superb. The store in general is absolutely amazing. Best company around. The prices may be a little higher but you are paying for quality products. This company always guarantees its products. If you are not happy with a product or service they go above and beyond to make it right and guarantee your happiness. ❤

Head and shoulders above other markets as far as freshness. Staff are always helpful and friendly through the store, at the deli and at the cash-out line. It is a bit pricier than other grocery stores, but the quality makes it worth it to me. The produce section is hug, as is the fresh seafood and meat section. I also really like that you can have fresh sushi dishes made in store and there are a variety of Japanese foods on the shelves for those who like to cook these dishes at home.

Im usually a pcc or trader joes go-er. I stopped here for some fruits and vegetables. What i found was over priced fruits and veggies that were rotting on the shelves.. I wish google would let me attach the pictures im going to send to the health dept. Clean up your act!! Theres no reason i should pay double for strawberries, blueberries , brussel sprouts ,mangos , pineapples all that were organic but also covered in mold. Sorry not sorry.

Great store! So much available for vegetarians and gluten free! My only complaint-- the prices are way too high! So after 4 years of religiously shopping here I now can only come for the unusual gluten free items and some great organic produce. It makes me sad to not be able to shop for most of my food here anymore. If you can afford it - do shop-- it is fun, easy and so many wonderful organic products. Thanks!! Sky

The bakery ladies are terrible. How is it that I am calling in a week advance to get a cake for my moms Birthday and they cant make the accommodations. This is the 2nd time I have tried to get a cake from these people and they cant fulfill my order. I mean what kind of bakery is this if they cant accommodate a cake order. All I was trying to order was a 1/3 sheet cake. Its really not that hard to do, is it?

Im responding to the commenter who wrote "I found that old brown meat was intentionally sandwiched between fresh meat so that customers couldnt see it." When ground meat is packaged, the outside part will take on a bright red color, while the internal part will retain its original, fresh, less bright, brownish color. Its just the way of ground meat, and not deception on the part of this fabulous market.
