As a college student, this is my go-to grocery store. They have a large variety of good products and normally i know what Im buying and do a quick grab and go. I usually dont check the experation dates on some of these items but it so happen that today I found a surpringly large amount of expired items, (like 2-3 months experation date) including my favorite roasted seaweed snack. I spoke to one of the cashiers and told him what product were expired and he simply said "ok", he didnt really acknowledge or reassured me that the products being removed. He didnt care. Hopefully this review works and someone notices. I also posted a picture.

I call the place "Gross Out" (short for Grocery Outlet) but I actually like shopping here occasionally. There has to be a strategy though. 1) dont have meals planned when you shop. Let your "finds" dictate your meals that week 2) dont stock up too much because items usually have short dates 3) bread, milk and eggs are usually not a bargain 4) bring an app on your phone to check out their wines. There are bargains to be found with some awesome wines, but Ive also purchased some that were barely drinkable.

This place is fantastic. Youll have to go a few times to get a sense of what you can get the best deals on in terms of what is offered there. Ive found that chips/snacks (especially organic/natural), frozen foods and sliced meats are pretty competitvely priced. I wouldnt really recommend their produce section as it is not fresh or exciting and not really well priced either (which makes sense because it is harder for them to source fresh product at a discount vs. expiring packaged goods).

The grocery Outlet always carries a variety of things one might need Good cuts of beef, chicken, and other meat, vegetables and fruit , wine, juices etc at good prices, things for the household, gardening needs and many more items one might want It is also very much into community and organizes food drives for the needy. I admire the management. They truly think of their customers all the time. Any one can find hidden treasures there. For me it is a daily treasure hunt

For 2 times they missed putting some of the grocery I paid for it into my shopping bags. The first time when I went back they gave it to me it was a Loaf cake for $2.89. The second time even this chaser knows I was complaining about missing grocery when went home a plastic package with Tomatoes was missing and he refused to acknowledge that few days later. If this is intentionally done or repeated I will file a complain with the consumer affairs about your business.

Good prices! They carry groceries, deli, organic food at good prices, cleaning products and things for the home, even some fashion. This location id pretty big, with huge fridges and freezers. Just know that the reason prices are low is that they sell excendents, and many of the products have a very short shelf life left (so check the expiration date every time!) I almost bought a huge mayonaise that was expiring in a week!

Excellent prices & selection of everything-sometimes things are close to experation date but it usually will not matter because almost everything lasts much longer than date shown All employees are very friendly and very helpful-we shop here whenever we get a chance and we live at least 30mi away.

I absolutely love Grocery Outlet. For non picky eaters, theres always a huge selection of good food here. The closer to expiration, the better the deal - that is, its not for people that stockpile food and turn their kitchen into a fallout shelter. Buy it, eat it, its great!

As an overseas visitor who passes through Redwood City semi-frequent, this is my favourite place to shop for those essential items (and some not so essential). Range is good, Prices are great and the staff are helpful. Its my first stop whenever I arrive in town.

my rating is really based off the beer/wine/champagne section. Theyre selection is improving, including IPAS, seasonals, etc. Cant beat there 20% off sale on alcohol. This site is clean, organized, and the staff is usually very friendly.

Great deals, just make sure you check the expiration dates. They usually have a nice selection of orchids, and other potted plants. You never know what youll find, its like a treasure hunt every time you shop here!
