Righteous Indignation
Having worked at this store, one of smallest Walmarts youll ever see, & continuing to patronize to this day, from experience as a customer AND an Associate; this store, regardless of turnover has one of the hardest working teams to be found in any other store. Many of the fine associates are part and full-time students, single parents, and vibrant young adults getting their feet wet in the job world. Some are a mix of a couple of those, some all three! Being an associate is as rewarding as it is trying. If youve had a negative experience with any associate, remember how I described them above & consider what your job(S) were like in similar situations. Every associate, immediately after clocking in begins their shift with a "front & face" of the products in their department (some assigned to more than one) endeavoring to meticulously complete this task while providing unexpected, excellent customer service, one of the most rewarding parts of the job. They are also human & tend to reflect the attitudes of those with whom they regularly interact. Customers can also experience rewarding moments when they have an above average service experience with these fine associates by making note of the associates name and mentioning that to a CSR(customer service representative) after checking out, even if they have to patiently wait a few moments for availability. Theres nothing better than talking up an associate one has had a great experience with, especially when the associate doesnt expect it. As one of Walmarts valued customers it pays to put a smile on as is expected of every Associate even if it doesnt feel right. Do this simple act & youll have a great customer service experience every time!

I took a trip to Chico recently. I was just visiting since I used to live there. On the way, my car started having issues. I had just purchased new tires from a different Walmart. Of course, I immediately went to the Walmart in Chico to make sure my tires werent defective. It took them almost 3 hours to balance one tire. I did not even ask them to balance that tire...I had asked them to figure out what was wrong with that tire since I had a warranty and the tire was only a few days old. Instead, since they were close to closing, they spent a few minutes balancing one tire and told me that would do the trick. They made me wait several hours to do something that took a few minutes. The next day I came back because obviously balancing one tire wasnt going to fix the problem I was experiencing. It took them another 2 1/2 hours to tell me that there was nothing they could do for me because they didnt believe it was the tire. I wasted the majority of my weekend in Chico at Walmart thanks to the incompetent people who worked at the tire center. I eventually stopped trying and just had my car towed but a warranty at Walmart means absolutely nothing especially when it jeopardizes their inventory! Stay away from the tire center!

This Wal-Mart have a tire shop! Not just that I was assisted by a worker nickname as Cat real name Tilly or Telly very knowledgeable guy and he fixed my tire free of charge! The stem in my tire vavle was bent, air was coming out like crazy but I have the rubber cap on and drove all the way from Sacramento for a court hearing. It was inspected then replaced for free. He then said all done. I said how much for that he look at me shook his head he said its free dont worry about it. I came to tears. He really saved my trip back home. Knowing he took care of my tires I didnt need to worry about coming out of my court hearing to a flat tire and being stuck with only little cash with me. Cat Tilly Telly. If youre reading this you made my day that morning. It gets better from there I was granted full custody of my child my whole day that day went great no down side at all but it wouldnt be any better if I didnt meet you that day. Thanks brother and I mean it thanks.

People here are not helpful at all. When checking out the cashiers talk to each other and not you. When you need to find an employee they are no where to be found and when you do find them they are often standing around talking to eachother. Their customer service is awful if I could give 0 stars I would. The only reason why I go here is because of the low prices so dont expect anything more. Once again I went there today and stood waiting at the customer service while they had their own conversations. Kim who was helping me was rude and she didnt acknowledge me until after she was done having her conversation. When I go shopping I like to be treated like a valued customer but every time I go back there its worse

Overfilled the oil in my F350 diesel twice!!! I would go on occasions when I was too busy to change my own oil. They sell ford Motorcraft oil and filters only reason I go. They filled the oil filter with 2.5 quarts oil screwed it on then put the required 15 on top of that at the top side fill spout. so I was 2.5 quarts over, truck holds 15 exactly!!! Idiots did this the only 2 times I took it in. I have a written statement, from the manager stating that they screwed up and would have the truck repaired if leaks continued after the overfill. I will post pics of written statement from the manager.

We waited over an hour at customer service. There were 3 registers and 1 person working. The line was out the door. The manager walked by several times but didnt call anyone else to help. When asked she just said, its been like this all day! Running short on time, I asked 3 different employees where I could find an item and none of them knew! One actually had an attitude when I asked where to find a pool raft and told me they were all sold out, I actually found them on the next aisle!! Terrible experience!

Heres one for you!! The manager at the Chico, CA Walmart kicked a lady off the parking lot premises who was gathering signatures to protest a bag tax and when a couple of members of the barbershop group called to her and wanted to sign it the manager kicked them off the premises as well. Good going, Kim! I guess that just cinched my never spending another dime at Walmart. I have always detested the whole concept of Walmart but now I detest the idea even more!!!!

I came here today for a Coleman camp stove and found not one on the shelf. A friendly employee asked if I needed help with anything today, I asked if he had anymore camp stoves somewhere else in the store, and he said he was going to either find one for me or know for sure they didnt have anymore. And guess what? 15 minutes later he came back with exactly what I needed! My babies and are are going camping in luxury this weekend! Thank you so much.

If I could give this no stars I would. Im not from the area, and we stopped by to buy a gift. This elderly lady working at the door was super rude. Said some things that was inappropriate and non of her business while me and my family walked out the door! I will never go back to this location. Her name is linda and I will make sure to contact her store manager and the corporate officeto complain about her!
