I absolutely love Damascus Safeway. They feel like my extended family. Aspecially the pharmacy. John, Jay, Karlene and the rest of the long time crew are genuinely the most caring and kind human beings that go further than your basic customer service employees. They truly care about your well being. I cant speak highly enough about them. They are truly appreciated by myself and the rest of my family!!

Always liked Safeway, but they are slowly going downhill. The store on 82nd in PDX should have never been sold. Bad move, lost lots of customers. Also store on 122nd and Glisan is a dive at night. One cashier, locked front doors to keep thieves from stealing, scary and sketchy at night. Feel sorry for the employees forces to work almost alone.

I really like this Safeway. The staff are very nice and helpful. I stop in at least once a week for shopping or gas at the station on site. Their prices are reasonable. While not as big as some other Safeways, they always have what I need. Plus I rarely have to wait in line to check out because they are very efficient.

It was great! The checker was the same dark haired woman that always waits on me. With a great smile and makes me feel good about shopping there. I noticed on the receipt that I overpaid for my pop though. It was buy 4 and .99 a piece. But they rang up $1.99 each. I will have to take care of it next time.

Meat department is a disaster, service, if you can find it is rude and quite snappy. Waiting 30 mins for help, and she was the angry one?! Lots of meat with todays date, that they would rather throw out than discount for buying customers. Doesnt seem that the stores best interest is at hand.

Lynn the pharma tech is amazing. Always helpful and knows her job inside and out. I couldnt imagine a better employee to have working in that department. She smart, and professional, but also very good with customers and their needs. Thank you Safeway for hiring employees like Lynn.

They stay open late, other then that, they are over priced and not your go to stop, they dont even have a good ethical track record to make you feel good about spending more money to go here, basically unless its late at night and you have no other option, they are a bust

Honestly... this used to be the best local place to go, but changes in the last 18 months make me go here only as a last resort. The pharmacy is rude, some of the checkers are grumpy... the prices are high... just, dont go unless you must.

I like that they have a Safeway fuel station there and a Starbucks inside the store along with red box and a wells Fargo ATM excellent deli great produce section and very good meat and seafood selections
