Ive been patronizing this shop for over 5 years now since i moved to Issaquah. Ive gotten great service every time i go in whether it was purchasing my new bike, taking delivery, adjustments, or full-on repair and annual overhauls. They are very knowledgable and have always been helpful when i go in. The shop manager and head mechanic, Hugh, is particularly helpful, friendly and knowledgable. He always takes time to answer the many questions i like to ask. I will say the owner, Mike, is sometimes not the warmest fellow which may explain the lower ratings on this shop. But hes ok too if given the chance. I like doing business with a local shop rather than the big chains on-line (which cant help you with repairs/maintenance) and these guys have always left me confident my bike was being taken care of properly. BTW, their new location (right next to the old one) is much bigger and brighter than the old one. Very nice and plenty of room for bikes and other product displays - makes shopping and browsing way better than before. Give em a try.

We needed a bike to be repaired and wanted to support a local business so we went to the Bicycle Center. When we walked in we smiled and said hello and they just stared at us even as though they didnt have time to respond even though there was no one else in the store. We sat the bike down and got repremanded for having it in the aisle (again, no one else was in the store) and they asked us not to get the floor dirty or we would have to clean it up. The bike had just been cleaned... They acted as though we were a real inconvenience to them and made us feel very uncomfortable in their store. Both men that were in the store were very unfriendly and very odd. I will never spend another penny at Bicycle Center of Issaquah‎.

Customer satisfaction....I dont think so. My wife bought me a birthday gift here. She didnt know I already had a solution for what she bought me so I decided to return the item with the gift receipt. They absolutely would not take the item back even though it was completely unopened. Rather they pointed to the bottom of the receipt where in tiny print it stated "exchanges only after 5 days". Heck, I didnt even unwrap the gift within 5 days. I was stunned that a brick & mortar shop would have such poor business practice and treat customers this way. I will never consider buying anything from them again and certainly wouldnt consider a bicycle. Once they have your money, game over. Shame on them.

Over the last couple of years I have bought four bikes there. From an adult tricycle to a commuter bike. There have a very good selection and reasonable prices for the recreational and serious rider. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy buying bikes and equipment from them. Last but not least is they are a small and local business.

I love this place. Very friendly, fair priced service that out paces the other guys. As an avid rider I frequently need my bike serviced and Issaquah Bicycle Center always gets my bike turned around in time for the next big ride, not weeks later like the big shops. They are local, which saves me travel time. Thanks Hugh and team!

Family oriented bike shop. Not a lot race gear BUT - I show up there on a burning incredibly busy Saturday all grumpy and dehydrated cause I shredded a tire 30 miles from home and they find time to take care of me. If you have a mechanical in May Valley, these folks will get you home. Send em some love, roadies.

Its a high end bicycle shop. They have the latest and greatest Trek Bicycles, and all of the gear you need to ride, or race, in style. The mechanic is knowledgeable and very friendly. Sports a wicked stache, too.

I brought my old like to have it tuned up and new tires. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Reasonable prices. It looks like they have a large selection of bikes, including E-bikes.

I needed my bike repaired quickly for STP and they were able to fix my broken derailer and give me a tune up within a few days. Very happy with the service and quick turn around.

Parents went in a few times. Its okay. Sometimes gender driven business. Female cyclists are hit or miss for being taken seriously.
